Bring your boat and dock at our private dock or enjoy fishing or sun bathing with your favorite refreshment. You can grill or just enjoy the water view from our gazebo! Close to many beaches and restaurants! There’s another Abnb on property, if rented you might have to share common areas.

If you are outdoorsy as we are, you will adore this cute little place. We go on cool nights and make a fire in the fire pit, sit down by the river and watch alligator and dolphin, cook outside and watch the stars. It is very private, although we have not been when someone was renting the other unit. We love this place and have gone back twice in just a few weeks. Judy is accommodating and swift with her responses. My partner and I are both property managers and appreciate the great customer service.

Waterfront Getaway

The property had everything needed for a relaxing memorable experience. The view was breathtaking overlooking the beautiful water. It was a perfect home away from home for my wife and I. We would definitely reserve again if we are in the area.

Enjoyed all the accommodations

The property was quaint and the view was awesome. Restaurants in the area were reasonable and several were right on the water. Also, the firepit was awesome on a chilly night. Only issue were the bugs. You will definetly need bug spray.

This was a very cute place. The one room cabin was very comfortable. You can defiantly tell the property was still recovering from storm damage and the dock was not suitable for our boat. But we still had a good time. Thanks

Christmas & New Years stay at River Cabin in Ruskin Florida

I enjoyed my stay at River Cabin in Ruskin. It was great to have the view and outdoor amenities during the holiday season. The propane grill was extremely helpful when preparing meals during my stay there. I also got a chance to fish during my stay which was very relaxing and fun. The host was very attentive to any concerns that I had. I would recommend River Cabin in Ruskin to anyone that is an outdoor enthusiast as well as anyone that wants a relaxing time with a great view of Upper Little Manatee River.

Riverfront getaway

When renting a B&B there is always the question will the ad match the experience. In this case, the experience was even more wonderful than the ad. With the cabin positioned above and directly on the river, the view was always wonderful especially just before and during sunrise. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed (and a few extras we didn’t expect). The grounds, the gazebo area with the grill, the steps leading to and the dock are well kept. With local bait shops nearby we were able to fish all weekend and catch quite a few fish (we really did :-). The communications with the owner was excellent and very responsive. We wanted to get away for a couple of days just to relax and fish. We did just that and enjoyed the cabin and the experience very much. We were already talking about coming back to get away again before we left.
