Galvestonian condo review

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would not recommend rental. We purchased the newer renovated room called its 5 o'clock somewhere. At very last minute the condo place called us to let us know they had to change it to one of the older rooms and our room was not available due to maintenance. We would have never even paid that much for the room we got. It was clean yes, but we would have gone elsewhere. The room we wanted was a lot nicer and updated. The staff manager said they emailed us to let us know about the room update change, however they did not. They also did not try to discount anything after this. Highly DO NOT recommend. Go somewhere else.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re very sorry that the maintenance issue with the condo you originally selected affected your stay. We completely understand how disappointing it is when the unit you specifically chose is no longer available. We do want to clarify that you were informed of the change before arrival. When this happens, we first give our guests the opportunity to select another available condo themselves. If another unit is not chosen, we then work to place the reservation in an available condo that is as comparable as possible to the original booking. We understand that the replacement condo did not have the same updated style and feel as “It’s 5 O’Clock Somewhere,” and we’re sorry that it did not meet your expectations. We never want to move a guest from the condo they selected, but when an unexpected maintenance issue affects a unit, our priority is making sure guests are placed somewhere clean, safe, and ready for their stay. We appreciate your feedback and are sorry this change had such a negative impact on your experience.
