Situated on the east end of the island, our beachfront condominium is near the intersection of the seawall and the main entrance to the island. Enjoy easy access to the Seawall and historical district’s parks, shopping, museums, trendy cafes, and cultural hotspots, making your stay as comfortable and customizable as you desire. There are no meters or other hassles of street parking here as parking is in a designated lot on the north side of the building, with other overflow parking available if needed. The open-concept living room is flooded with natural light, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. With the relaxing view of the beach, it's the perfect space to unwind! Leave your cares, pool towels, and other amenities behind. Our kitchen comes fully stocked with dishes and appliances. A generous amount of pool towels are provided and can be exchanged at the front desk as often as needed to enjoy the on-site heated pool and hot tub. Other onsite amenities for your enjoyment include tennis and pickle ball courts, shuffleboard, horseshoes, picnic grills, and hammocks. Our management team is committed to ensuring your living experience is smooth, enjoyable, and sure to produce fond memories. Prompt response to maintenance requests and a friendly approach make us stand out.

October Girls Getaway!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our the 3rd time to stay at the Galvestonian and it has yet to disappoint!! Our 2nd time to stay in the Blissful Beachside Hideout, the rental is always very clean, comfy beds, cold A/C and has all the supplies needed (missing a broom). Love waking up every morning to the beautiful ocean views, right out your back door, never gets old. Susan at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Every employee there has always been friendly. We usually visit during the summer but this year we came in October and it was amazing. The weather was great,we practically had the beach to was 80-86 degrees during the day and cool mornings for walks on the beach to see the sunrise. Hardly any wait at any of the restaurants!! We cant wait to come again next year!!!

Blissful Beachside Hideout

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at the Galvestonian previously in a friends condo and had the BEST experience. However, this year she double booked so we had to rent from the Galvestonian directly. We paid triple what we would have for our friends' condo but were willing to do so because we love the environment so much. We were sadly disappointed this year and have decided that we might need to look elsewhere in our future visits. The room was SO muggy and the bathroom was miserable to be in as the vent fan didn't work. The air conditioner was extremely old and a note was left not to turn it below 70 so we stayed hot and muggy the whole time. The stove, sink head in kitchen, AND microwave were installed incorrectly so upon touching, the stove would rock back and forth making it hard to cook food since the surface was not flat, the microwave would jar up and down upon touching as if it was about to fall off of the wall and the sink would wobble every which way when used. We were afraid it would completely break if we used it. Lastly, we noticed immediately (and struggled the whole trip) that the SMELL of the room was SO STRONG OF CIGARRETT and ALCOHOL! This WAS a NON-SMOKING room! It was almost unbearable. We had to be given approval by a manager when we asked for new towels after using the same bath towels for 3 days because the lady at the front argued that housekeeping was gone and there were no other clean towels so we'd have to wait until the next day. When I asked what we were to use for our showers she shrugged and said "I don't know but I cant help with that". The manager did end up making sure we were given towels. We are sad that this all occurred here this year as it WAS our favorite place to stay.

Kayla, apologies to you that your stay with us was not up to par. It sounds like a lot of things were wrong. Please reach out to the GM during your stay. We can always move you to another condo. We will notify our GM of your review and request a thorough inspection of the condo and replace or repair any of the items you mentioned. Few points to consider: (1) All condos of the same size are the same price. So, if you friend's condo is the same size as #907, then you did not pay triple the amount. (2) All condos, including your friend's condo, if it is in the rental program, have a sign requesting the thermostat no be lowered below 70 degrees (3) All of our condos are non-smoking. If the smell was so strong, you should have notified the front desk to notify a manager. Again, please reach out to a manager DURING your stay. Our condos are inspected prior to each guest arriving. It is hard to imagine so many things in one condo being sub-par. Thank you for letting us know in your review.
