Looking for a getaway on the lake? This character home is directly on Lake Winnebago which is the largest lake within the state of Wisconsin. You will wake up every morning with gorgeous waterfront sunrises. This home also features original built-ins, hardwood floors, a cozy fireplace, a backyard fire pit. Enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine on the peaceful four seasons back porch. There is a dock (in the summer months), kayaks, and paddle boards to use for your recreation!

Very accommodating for large group. Great sleeping facilities. Very difficult getting in and out driveway if more than one car. (Might help to eliminate plants along side of house)

Family Lake Vacation

Our family came together at this lakeside house to enjoy time together. We kayaked, biked, explored the Air Museum (with one grandson taking a plane ride), swam in the lake, played games, had a bonfire and did many other activities together. The house worked great for our family. Thanks for everything!

Amazing lake view

This lake front home is gorgeous. They have manage to keep the beautiful hardwood floors, wood trim and detailed wood built-in cabinets throughout the house. Weather was perfect for sitting on screen porch and looking at the lake. Lot of beds so everyone could have their own.

Bachelorette Trip

Very good overall, but one bed was listed as a king when it was actually a double. There were also lots of bugs and bug debris but that is hard to control. Thanks for a great stay. The property is beautiful.

We enjoyed this lake front property. It was a cute, older home right on the lake with great views. We were lucky that the weather was really nice. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards and fire pit. Lots of extra outdoor chairs available in the garage. There is an amazing park within walking distance that deserves to be checked out! Unfortunately, there were some essentials missing. No kitchen towels, limited hand towels and wash cloths. Only six coffee mugs (and there were 8 of us). One oven mitt but no hot pads. We all complained about the pillows as they were flat and not comfortable. There was a seat missing from one of the kayaks and one of the paddle board handles would not lock into place. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves in this cute lake house.

Stunning!

I stayed here will my bridesmaids and used the property to get ready for the wedding on the day of. The space is ample, well equipped, and very peaceful. The photos are 100% accurate and the lakefront area is lovely. I would definitely stay here again!!!!

Repairs needed

Lights on bed did not work. Light in living room had a defective cord. Rest of our time was peaceful and relaxing.

Great place on a Great lake!

This house was amazing! So beautifully restored and decorated. The beds were comfortable, the home was clean and the yard was quiet and relaxing. We had a group of teens with us and rhey loved using the kayaks and paddleboards. We found Oshkosh to be a wonderful destination, and plan on returning to enjoy the quaint main street, farmers market and of course, the lake! Thank you !

Good aspects:The check-in process was seamless. Given the construction on Main Street that we were unaware of, the location was relatively easy to find. The hosts responded promptly and respectfully to our questions through the in-app communication system.Negative aspects:Upon arrival, the outside garbage cans were almost entirely full, and there was leftover food in the refrigerator and freezer from the previous tenants. Additionally, the knives in the house were dull, and the ice machine in the freezer was turned off.Some hooks across the three bedrooms could be fixed since they are now bedrooms. I also noticed that the place lacked extra pillows. For a place that claims to sleep 12 people, each bed had only two actual pillows (excluding throw pillows for aesthetic purposes). This was confusing since there were no other pillows to be found.Overall:While the space could technically sleep 12 people if we were pushing boundaries, I wouldn’t say it was suitable for hosting 12 people comfortably. I would argue that 8 people (I do no count the futon at the front door thats not private at all) would be the maximum number of people who could stay here comfortably.Despite these minor issues, it was still suitable for the purpose we needed it for.
On of the bedrooms with a king bed, but only two pillows provided.
Small slanted closet with bed that provides less than a foot a walking space against the wall.

This home is perfect for family vacations at the lake! We were there for a wedding but had time to enjoy the relaxing view of the lake, sunrise, and sitting on the enclosed deck. 2 of the 3 bedrooms had HUGE closets with a large bed in each, perfect for littles or more adults. Love the character of the house too! Easy to communicate w mgt with prompt responses!
