Charming Retreat

Ideal for up to four people, this apartment is located on the first floor of a two-unit building. It has two bedrooms, one full bathroom, a living room and a kitchen with a dinning table. It has a nice fully fenced yard and two parking spaces in front of the house. It is fully furnished and includes all utilities, wi-fi and laundry. Located in a cute cul-de-sac from a quiet neighborhood, just 1/2 mile from the beach and 50 minute drive to Boston. There is a central heat system for the winter and window a/c units for the summer. The laundry is shared and is located in the basement. FYI there is another apartment upstairs and it is occupied by other tenants and there may be some ambient noise that travel through the walls and ceiling (both ways).

It was clean and well maintained - with many thoughtful touches by the host. We liked that we could walk to the harbor and coffee shops on one side and to Good Harbor Beach on the other.

Boyfriends birthday weekend

Lovely accommodations, centrally located and easy short drives to great restaurants and shopping. Apartment is bright and sunny, perfect for two or more. Great communication from the host. Definitely recommend and will be back!

Great stay

The apartment was very nice, clean and a good location. There was an odor in the front room that we couldn't figure out. It reminded me of a wet dog smell. Other than that, everything was good.

Gloucester stay

The apartment is spotless and was obviously updated not too long ago. Walkable to the best Gloucester beach. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. All in all, a great place.

We had an excellent stay at Sergio’s home. The home is easily accessible and in a great location. Easy check in and checkout and parking right in front. Would definitely stay again; Sergio was an excellent host.

Nice little place! Good size kitchen, comfy beds, lots of pillows and towels. Quiet shady streets. Walk abt 15 min to good harbor bridge or bass rocks or stop and shop.

Nice Place

Sergio was very responsive and provided all the necessary information before it was needed. Check out requirements were as simple as simple gets. We ate out exclusively during our stay, but note that the kitchen accessories and utensils are basic. Also, be sure to bring your own games, if desired.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

This is a typical New England house built in the 1800's that has gone through extensive modifications to bring it up to date without losing it's original charm. However, the lay-out of the spaces and the size of the rooms are the same as when they were built originally and this could mean that some rooms are not the size or the lay-out that we expect from a modern house. Take note that the bathroom space may be tight for some people, but it is fully functional. And the main bedroom is located in the attic (third floor). Thank you for letting us be part of your New England experience!
