This cottage has central heat and a/c for year-round comfort. There is a first floor hvac system and a separate hvac system for the second floor. There are five sleeping spaces, two bathrooms, one large gathering space, and a nice size front porch. There is one large table for eating and playing games. The large table will seat 17. There is an attached garage for playing games and family gathering. Not for parking vehicles. There are enough beds to sleep 14. The upstairs has four sleeping spaces and a bathroom with a shower/tub combo. There is one sleeping space on the first floor and a bathroom with a shower. Appliances we have them all - kitchen disposal, washer/ dryer, dishwasher, electric stove top and convection oven, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker and a tankless hot water system. There is a second / extra fridge /freezer in the garage.

There is a circular Weber charcoal grill. You need to bring the charcoal and matches.

There are board games inside the cottage along with different levels of books.

Lakeside Chautauqua is an amazing community. There is daily programming so be sure to check out the Lakeside Ohio web site. Lakeside helps to allow you to experience a slower time. The community includes large pier going into Lake Erie, downtown shopping, restaurants, ice cream shops, movie theater, parks, splash pad, pool, wellness center, playgrounds, basketball, tennis, pickleball, shuffleboard, mini golf, art classes, worship, exhibits, and classes. Don't forget to walk along Ohio's Most Beautiful Mile, along the shores of Lake Erie.

Outside the gates there is a lot to do in the surrounding communities; Cedar Point, wineries, animal safari, waterparks, island hopping, and restaurants galore.

At no additional cost, an electric four-person golf cart is included for use during the week. The golf cart is available End of May until the Middle of October. You must have a valid driver's license. You must be 21 years old to operate the golf cart. The golf cart is to be used only inside the gates/fence of Lakeside. The golf cart has a capacity for four people. The golf cart must be plugged in each night. The golf cart is electric.

The internet is available year-round. There is no cable TV.
The TV is a smart TV - if you have a subscription to a service it will work on the TV.

The cottage sits on a corner lot. The lot has expansive views of Perry Park and Lake Erie.

Linens are provided. As a convenience, all beds are pre-made with sheets prior to your arrival.
The sheets are being washed on the hottest cycle.
All sheets will be cleaned upon departure by the cleaners. The renters are responsible for taking the sheets off the beds, that were used, and placed near the washing machine. Please do not put the bedspread next to the washing machine. Leave the bedspread with the pillows on the bed. The renter is responsible for putting used towels and bath mats next to the washing machine. High-efficiency front loading washing machine detergent is included.

There are some pool/beach towels.

There is a community pool. Please check the Lakeside Ohio web site for dates and details of when the pool is open.

Upon departure, guests must clean and put away all kitchenware.
Dishwasher detergent is under the kitchen sink.

The location of this cottage is amazing. Close to Ohio's Most Beautiful mile of a walking trail. What a View. Overlooking Perry Park pickle-ball /tennis courts and playground. It is a nice walk to downtown. Walk out your front door and see the lake. The front porch has a view of the lake.

During the Chautauqua Season, there are gate fees, parking fees, and other policies, not included with the cottage rental. Please see the Lakeside website for any further details. During the Chautauqua Season rentals are from Saturday to Saturday. Reduced rates before Memorial Day and after Labor Day.

The charcoal grill has to be used outside the cottage.

Cleaning supplies, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, laundry detergent, hand soap, and garbage bags.

Parking:
Two parking spots right at the cottage.
Plus room for the four person golf cart.
There is an EV charger.
Cancellation Policy:
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before the arrival date. You must contact the owner directly to talk about a cancellation. If I can find another renter I will return your money minus fees from Vrbo.com.
