Such a sweet setting, awoke one morning to a family of deer gathered in the back yard. The next morning I watched two owls swoop through the trees. The loft space is comfortable and inviting (a few cob webs in the rafters). Great deck too.n

Great spot for friends visit to Bellingham

We used this property as a basecamp for our Ski to Sea relay team. It provided everything we could need: fenced area for dogs, stocked kitchen for preparing meals, showers and towels, space for our several cars, bikes and boats, even a hot tub to recover. We loved the beautiful forested yard. There are hiking and biking trails in walking distance from the front door. Overall a lovely place to stay!

Fawn Retreat was just as described. Lovely neighborhood in a beautiful forest that was close to trails at Lookout Mountain. The back yard was relaxing with the frens and hot tub. Parking was perfect for us with two covered spots. The owner even supplied a food processor upon our request. Only items of note for us: the efficiency washer/dryer combination certainly works fine just takes many small loads if you have that need over a long stay, and the house could use a few more utensils if you plan on cooking a lot as we did. Overall, great stay though. Highly recommend.
