We absolutely loved staying at Sherry and Maggie’s. We met them and felt at home right away. The beds were so comfortable, inside and outside seating was great. We were delighted with the amenities, which included items in the frig which were most welcome. I believe this is the best VRBO we have ever stayed in, and we hope to stay there again someday.

I had a mostly great time here but had several confusing conversations with one of the hosts. The last one she accused me of wrecking the sofa covers, totally untrue. They were covered with several layers of blankets the entire time. Oh well!She also accused my dogs of chasing her cats.. untrue as they were always leashed. And I was always with them. I think she was not feeling well and that may have colored her mood... Im sorry for that...

Awesome place, awesome location

Very nice place and the hosts were both very nice. The neighborhood is great and a short drive or uber ride to downtown which was perfect!

The property was absolutely wonderful and perfect for my time in Austin. It is so wonderful to have covered parking to keep your car cool in the shade on hot Texas days. The neighborhood is quiet and the backyard is adorable and lovely for relaxing or working remotely. The bedrooms and living room are homey and comfortable. I loved having some drinks in the fridge when I arrived and having a washer and dryer in the unit is amazing. There's P. Terry's and Whataburger a block away plus plenty of Tex-Mex food options and some late night food trucks. Easy access to I35, downtown, and superb airport access. Excellent experience and super easy check in and out. You'll love it!

Very comfortable

Great place to stay. Nice and quiet. I was able to bring my fur baby with me, and the private yard was perfect. We felt comfortable and safe.

Great Stay

Stayed for just over 2 months, and it was an amazing experience! Hosts were super helpful and always timely. Helped us fall in love with Austin! Would definitely stay here again! Fridge was stocked when we arrive, and yard was frequently groomed. Had two dogs and they completely understood! Great experience!!!!!

Comfortable and convenient

My husband and I stayed here with our pup for a month upon moving back to Austin while house hunting. It was extremely comfortable, and convenient to our favorite neighborhoods of the city. The kitchen was well stocked so it was like staying in a home. Plenty of space, and a very nice deck and yard!

We come to Austin every year for the MotoGP races. This place was central to most everything, easy to get to and comfortable. Our hosts were very pleasant. Thanks for sharing your place with us.

Overall everything was good. The house is a bit old and had a distinct smell. The owners was very friendly and welcoming. Everything we needed was provided.

Amazing Stay

I stayed here for the summer while working in Austin and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The owners are amazing and had the fridge full of food and drinks! They were super quick with responding and helping with anything I needed! They even looked out for my packages when I wasn’t there to get them.

Perfect Home Away From Home!

Stay here if you’re visiting Austin! I booked Maggie and Sherry’s place for a month and they made me feel so welcomed! The house has everything you could possibly need. It’s cozy and clean and in such a great location. And the backyard was a little piece of heaven for my dog! I’ll be visiting Austin again later this year and will definitely try to book again here!

Fantastic!The property is literally 10 minutes from the airport and 5 minutes from I-35 and you don't get any noise from either one.Your parking spot is under the carport and on the right directly in front of the door. There are no steps just wheel in your luggage. The large TV is situated right in front of the couch seems larger because it is close, perfect. Night time is quiet and the master bedroom is pitch black, great for sleeping. Wifi is fast.The best part are Sherry and Maggie they are great hosts. Right away I felt like they were old friends.I stayed there 2 months and I'm going there next year for over 3 months.You can't go wrong staying here.

Austin visit

Maggie and Sherry were very good hosts, responsive to any questions we had. We were comfortable and felt safe with covered and lighted parking. The location was very handy to Lady Bird Lake and downtown Austin. While the duplex is older, we had what we needed, including a quiet covered deck in back to read and watch the birds and squirrels. We also took walks in the neighborhood and felt safe. We would stay there again

It's all been EASY! Location is central and easy to get anywhere. The facilities are clean, comes stocked with basics and is quiet - I know, I have dogs with me who are more than happy to bark at every noise - yet they have been quiet themselves. Well worth the cost and efforts.

My son and his colleague stayed here for ten weeks during their summer internship with Oracle. It was an outstanding place for them with convenience to the office (8 minutes drive), 20 minutes to the airport as well as covered parking included. The place was very clean inside and also had the backyard to enjoy. The best part though were the hosts, Sherry and Maggie, who were incredibly gracious and really looked out for these young men! Thank you for your hospitality. I highly recommend your place.
