Located 10 minutes outside of Temple and across from Ft. Cavazos, with great shopping and dining options. Watch the Baylor Bears win in their stadium an easy 45-minute drive from the property. The state capital of Austin is about an hour down the road.

We absolutely loved this quiet place and the beautiful views of the lake. The host is awesome and we will definitely be staying there again in the future.

Gina was great! She responded fast to any questions we had. The house was very comfortable. It's an interesting vintage vacation lake house, it has a cool 70's vibe. It kept the family entertained with the deck overseeing the beautiful lake and the game room. We loved the huge dining table. The lake was difficult to traverse due to the house being on a bluff, but we were not there to go to the water. Do not let the drive in discourage you. The house and the veiw will pleasantly suprise you!! Have fun with it!!

This beautiful, peaceful home served as our home base for a weekend family reunion in Nolanville. Although we only stayed there in the mornings and to sleep, our family greatly enjoyed our surroundings when we were there. Gina was a top-notch host, communication was great. Highly recommend!

Nice family lake houses

We enjoyed staying in the lake house. It was very clean, appointed with everything you’d need for your stay and perfect for family or friends gathering. The view of the lake is beautiful.

Relaxing stay, our kids loved being able to run around outdoors, the basketball hoop and ping pong table. My daughter loved the play kitchen under the stairs. The lake was a little tricky to get to like others mentioned but once down there my boys liked it. We didn't attempt to take the kayaks down there but they were available and had life jackets. Overall a great place to stay especially with kids. Check in and check out were great, too.

The view of the lake is breathtaking. There are so many places to sit and enjoy yourself and the house was spacious and very accommodating.

The view is incredible. There is a lot of thoughtful effort put into the space to help groups of all sizes enjoy themselves. Some examples - lots of seating (inside and out), items for dogs, lots of games for differing ages and number of players, extra towels, coffee makers in each room, fully stocked kitchen, kayaks with life jackets, and welcome snacks. The host is very responsive but doesn’t bother you, and goes out of the way to be welcoming.

Lovely roomy place

Took my dad on his last trip near lake Belton. It was all family to be with my dad. The deck is huge with a beautiful sunset & sunrise view.

Beautiful lake view

Gina was great to work with and responded quickly to my questions. We had such a great time with our family there. Plenty of room for everyone. She even had some items in the pantry for us to use if we wanted. The shower in the main room was amazing! Thank you so much, Gina!

Great Experience

Neighborhood seemed sketchy, but it’s located at the end of the road and has a gate. Trail to the lake was steep but it was a good workout. Kitchen was stocked with cookware and utensils, even had a variety of spices and food! Rooms are very spacious and each room had an extra bed/mattress which was very accommodating for our huge family who travelled far. It had a fireplace and fire wood, life jackets and kayaks. The yard was huge and a great place for the kids to do their Easter egg hunt! Host Gina was a great communicator and responded quickly. I’d book here again in the future!

Amazing Lake House

House looks just like the pictures...beautiful! It's a bit "interesting" to get to as the last 1/4 mile or so of the road is very rough. I would suggest arriving in an SUV or something with a little more ground clearance as a lower car like a Dodge Challenger would likely bottom out on the rocks, dips, and holes. There's tons of space once at the house. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The master bedroom is amazing! I could spend a day or two in there alone as there's a coffee maker, a HUGE shower, and an AMAZING view of the lake! Tons of space on the deck to sip coffee in the morning while you look out over the lake. There's a nice area just in front of the house to lay back with a small fire. Path to the water is a little steep...be prepared for that. Great communication from the host. I can't wait to rent this place again.

Magical Location

We stayed at this lake front home during the solar eclipse. We booked it last minute when our reservation at another property was canceled on us the day before. Luckily the owner at this property was able to fit us in and it worked out perfectly. The house was spotless and looked even nicer than the photos. The primary bedroom was very nice, the view, the tub and double showers all made for a luxurious stay. All of the rooms were very large and comfortable. The common areas were large and well appointed. The furniture was comfortable, and the kitchen well equipped. The host really went the extra mile to make sure that everything you might need was provided and in large quantity. The location itself was truly magical. The huge deck looked out onto the lake and the view was breathtaking. We wandered the property, my dog enjoyed the space and the access to go for a swim in the lake. Bird watching was a popular and plentiful activity for some in our group. There were some wildflowers on property which made sitting in the lounge chairs a nice treat. There was some games in the basement (foosball, Ping pong) and darts outside by the sitting area. Really can't say enough about how well this host did their part, of all the short term rentals I have stayed at I think this host made us feel more like welcomed guests than any of the others. I highly recommend this property.
