About this space
It's 16 steps up to a Rocky Mountain haven in a newly constructed apartment located in the heart of Old Colorado City on the westside of Colorado Springs. A beautiful deck looks over the neighborhood with Pikes Peak in the distance. Located halfway between downtown Colorado Springs and the Old Colorado City business district, restaurants, coffee shops, bookstores, shopping, and night life venues are less than 10 minutes away. Close enough to enjoy, but far enough away to remain a quiet retreat.

By far the cleanest and nicest rental property we’ve stayed at. I’m a general contractor by trade(and a stickler for perfection) and the finishes were all more top end, you can tell the owner takes pride in his properties. If you’re able to climb a flight of stairs, you will love this rental. It was complete with all the amenities and more. The location is about a ten minute drive from multiple tourists destinations.

Clean and quiet, restful stay

Truly a haven in Colorado Springs! We found this apartment to be in a great central location to many great attractions and hiking trails. Such an immaculately clean place and Doug was incredibly responsive. This is definitely on our list of places to stay again!

Great stay

The perfect place to stay while in COS. It's a great, quiet location. Easy access to attractions. Spotless with all amenities that one may need during a stay. Highly recommend. Doug is also a great communicator. Loved meeting and loving on Tofu too.

Old Colorado City

The apartment is lovely, the location is great. We had everything we needed. It is very convenient to the local food/drug store as well as several restaurants. It took less than 10 minutes to reach the train to Pikes Peak and Manitou Springs. I would recommend this apartment to anyone interested in visiting Pikes Peak or Colorado Springs.

Relaxing stay in a quiet neighborhood

Doug and Laurie have worked hard to provide a cozy retreat. Everything was impeccably clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with the basics and the beds were comfortable. It was very hot during our stay, so we appreciated how well the heat pump and fans worked to keep the apartment cool. The neighborhood is quiet and within easy walking distance to a few restaurants. We will return!

Birthday trip

I was looking for a rental near my daughter and saw this place. It was just 2 blocks from her, and very close to downtown historic Colorado Springs. The neighborhood was quiet and low traffic flow, very walkable. The rental was very clean, modern and comfortable, high end appliances and fixtures. I was able to easily fix a birthday dinner for my daughter. Lots of natural lighting and quiet running AC. The host was pleasant, available if needed. Responded to text in timely manner, also flexible with arrival and departure times.

I'm a retired veterinarian after owning a veterinary hospital in Colorado Springs for over twenty years. My wife, Laurie, is also a veterinarian and owns a feline only practice in Colorado Springs. We travel as often as we can (which is quite a lot), are avid scuba divers, and recently became grandparents for the first time!

The Old Colorado City area on the west side of Colorado Springs has the small town charm that I grew up with in rural Kansas. Our home, and this apartment, sits halfway between the Colorado Springs Downtown Business District and the Old Colorado City Business District which allows easy access to shopping, restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. Ten minutes to the west is the quaint mountain town of Manitou Springs, the base of Pikes Peak, and endless hiking.
