Loved the unit, the location and the host! The infinity pool was beautiful snd the location was quiet and view was so nice! It is in a very walkable area whether it be to the beach or one of the numerous restaurants or shops nearby! Can not wait to return!

This property was a lovely apartment with lots of light. The pool was very enjoyable, with good lounges. We cooked one night, there was plenty of pots and pans. Our only complaint was it’s far from some of the nicer restaurants in Palm Beach. Deerfield beach is a beautiful beach. Communication was responsive. Check in and out was easy! Thanks for a good stay!

We were impressed by how spacious the condo was. There was plenty of room for all of us and many different places to relax including the bedrooms, living room, kitchen and dining areas and outdoor balcony. The beds and bedding were comfortable and the towels plentiful with even beach towels included! The kitchen had everything we needed and was clean with lots of storage available. Having a washer and dryer room was a real plus. The views east and west were beautiful both day and night and the proximity to the beach and restaurants great. Would stay there again and highly recommend.

Deerfield Beach Rental

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an awesome stay. The unit was immaculate and perfect for two couples (each couple had their own private bathroom). However there was a cot and pack-n-play if needed. The unit was equipped sufficiently with basic supplies, and a very short walk to everything. I had many questions preceding our visit. Lars from iRenta was extremely helpful. We would absolutely select this unit again for our next stay in DFB.

Great apartment for hanging out at a nice beach.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The apartment is a good apartment for a beach experience. the outdoor space is actually much better than the picture. they updated the furniture - so that was a nice surprise. The only thing was that it was noisy. There was repair work ongoing in the building and it was loud. It had finished by the time we left but it did dampen the experience early on.

Amazing family vacation!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 2nd time staying at the Hemingway and yet again we were not disappointed! We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the penthouse for 10 days. Lots of windows/natural light/intracostal view and sunset views, while being close by the beach and restaurants (5 min walk). The condo has everything you need to enjoy your family meals indoors and outdoors, and you can even do your laundry. Beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, high chair, pack n play, roll-out bed, etc. We will definitely return and recommend to our friends and family! Thanks to Lars from iRenta for the warm welcome!

Review of Hemingway

Overall, my family and I enjoyed the Hemingway penthouse, especially the location and size of the unit/views from the unit. Fair warning, the building itself is dated which caused many mechanical issues. The elevators were out of commission several times while staying there and it caused difficulty getting up to the unit. There were also issues when first arriving with overall cleanliness of the unit. The oven had a ton of grease in the bottom which caused it to smoke heavily (as one example). Lars the property manager was very responsive and did do his best to fix issues quickly. The location is great, but the building and unit could use some TLC.

Thank you Lauren. The building is scheduled to be renovated, i.e., painted inside and out, new carpets, etc. Unfortunately, we are waiting for a part for the one elevator that is on backorder, but it to will obviously be fixed.

2/10 – Terrible

NOT AS EXPECTED. DESCRIPTION AND PICTURES ARE NOT ACCURATE

Rating Details: The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Issues that we incurred while staying at Hemingway Penthouse South Unit#504Unit was very dirty; dirty floors, bathroom and kitchen.Bathroom towels were very dirty; either heavily stained or not cleaned.Extensive mold in both showers and washer/dryer.Outdoor patios off of Master and kitchen where so dirty that you could not even use them.Burned out light bulbs everywhere; hallway, refrigerator, microwave and lamps.Powder room door would not latched, (door broke).Toilet seats in both bathroom where broke and stained. In 2nd bedroom; glass shower door hinges are missing several screws which makes this extremely dangerous. Glass door could possible fall off. And all the screws in the drain in shower are missing. There is a very dangerous exposed outlet (no cover) in 2nd bedroom.Ceiling repair work in hallway (possibly from a water leak) is not complete. Looks terrible!Master bedroom shade on sliding door was replaced with ridiculous looking drapes that do not match the existing drapes and are 2 feet to short.Missing items: no dishtowels, no wash clothes, no laundry detergent, no kitchen or bathroom cleaner and no way to clean existing dirty floors. Vacuum cleaner does not work, it has absolutely no suction. All rugs were covered in sand and dirt. Probably because the cleaning crew was using a broken vacuum cleaner. The pictures shown describing this unit are inaccurate. There is different furniture, (not as nice as shown) and accessories and cheep plastic plants littering the lanai and there is no outdoor drapes as shown.

Dear Lyn W, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us and your fellow travelers. Our cleaning team for this home was released and the new team is performing much better for our guests. We apologize if you felt that the drapes look ridiculous but it's precisely the way you booked the unit. We do not provide cleaning products for guests as they are not expected to clean during their time here. You're also the first person to say our pictures for this listing were inaccurate. Since your review, we've only had 5-star comments and believe them to be more indicative of our property. Nonetheless we wish you safe travels in the future.
