Wintergreen Mountain Views - Diamond in the Slopes - Close to Breweries & Hiking

Soak in the spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the top of Wintergreen Resort. High ceilings and open layout make it easy to take in the breathtaking views as soon as you walk in. Enjoy nearby golfing, hiking, and breweries on Nelson 151. Or just hunker down in the fully stocked condo that has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing getaway. Watch a movie by the cozy fire, play games at the 8 person dining table, or curl up with a book in the reading nook overlooking the slopes.

Diamond Hill provides gated access (Jan - Mar) to the private parking area. From there, you have 44 steps down to the entrance of the condo. Once inside, open the blinds and enjoy expansive views of the slopes and Blue Ridge Mountains.

There is plenty of space to spread out with the 4 counter seats, dining table that seats up to 8, and a large living room with couch, love seat, recliner, and daybed. The main outdoor space is the deck off of the dining room overlooking the ski slopes that has a table with seating for 4. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and is very well appointed with all the tools you need to make a home cooked meal or manage take out from one of the nearby (and amazing) restaurants.

Wintergreen property owners and their guests can enjoy two swimming pools during the summer; Chestnut Springs on the mountain and Rodes Farm in the valley. The two pools are in well-landscaped settings and have playgrounds for children. Since it can be cool on the mountain even in the summer, the Chestnut Springs pool is heated. Rodes Farm has a park with picnic tables, a pond, a joint pickleball and tennis court, and horseshoes. The summer pool hours for these facilities are typically 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Note that the The Aquatics & Fitness Center is only open to members and is not included in your stay. However, Spa Day Guests may use the Aquatics & Fitness Center with the same day purchase of a full length Spa service.

We had a wonderful stay. Being able to ski in and out for me and my two boys was so easy. We did not have to fight for parking at the resort because we were 10 ft from the slopes.And very quant and cozy after a long day on the slopes. We cooked 6 meals as well so every thing a chef would need is there.

This was a very relaxing weekend. We loved the extended views of the mountains, especially the sunrises. Very clean and the kitchen has everything you need to cook there, if you'd like to. Blue Ridge Parkway nearby and several restaurants to choose from in Waynesboro.Would definitely stay here again.

Seriously incredible unit! Perfect and cozy for a few days of skiing. The decor was charming with thoughtful touches throughout, and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. We built a fire each night, which made it feel extra special. The balcony was a highlight—beautiful for both sunrise and sunset. James was extremely responsive and helpful. We will definitely be returning!

Exterior of the building is a bit dated, but this unit has a fresh and updated feel to it. Everything we needed was provided. Quiet and very clean. Host was easy to work with. I'll definitely check to see if this unit is available the next time I'm visiting.Note: As mentioned in the description, there are a lot of steps to go down (and then back up).

A Slice Of Heaven

This condo is well appointed, maximizing their spectacular and sweeping mountain views! The “book/ nap nook”, as we called it, was a favorite spot! Such thought and care was given to every detail of this beautifully renovated condo. We felt at home and at peace. Exactly the trip we needed!!🥰 Pro Tip: Get up early for the sunrise and you might be rewarded with a sweet family of deer frolicking below the balcony! Moon rise is spectacular outside the windows with a gift of a giant orange moon each night!
