This home is located in a private community of Blue Ridge. This is a dog-friendly home as long as your dog is 12+ months, well trained, and housebroken. The home is fitted with a smart door lock and free parking for vehicles is available on the premises, with additional street parking.

There is no turnaround at our home, guests must be able to back out driveway when leaving the cabin.

We love our furry friends and our cabin is pet friendly. We ask that pets are not left alone in the home for an extended period of time, kept off the furniture and beds, and pet waste is picked up after. There is an additional pet fee.

This property was absolutely beautiful, quiet, cozy, and romantic exactly what I was looking for the host had literally everything you could think in the property for our use and it really made our stay super easy with only one trip to the store will definitely stay in this area again.

Clean and cozy cabin, stay was great. Gave it a 5-star review, the only thing I wish I would have known before arriving is they don't provide firewood for the fire pit. The cabin is remote enough and we only stayed one night so we didn't get to enjoy a fire.

Area the cabin was in was amazing. The cabin was pretty clean minus the fact that there was dust all over the walls. The beds were very very uncomfortable it felt like we were sleeping on the floor. The hot tub wouldn’t turn on and even if we could get it on it smelled so strongly of chlorine. The cabin certification was also expired by about three years. There was no privacy at night in the living room due to the lack of curtains it made us very uncomfortable. The trash bin outside was full so we only had room for one bag of trash had we stayed any longer we wouldn’t have had any room.

My husband and our dogs had a wonderful time! When we did have a question, the hosts were very responsive and helped us. The beds were comfortable and I absolutely loved the fireplace and TV area. :) .

We got to the property and it hadn’t been cleaned. The host was kind and got a cleaning crew out right away, but this resulted in a rush job that left some dirty spots. The wifi didn’t work. Half the lightbulbs were burned out. A circuit tripped and we lost power in the bedroom and bathroom, and by this point it was late and I couldn’t get ahold of anyone. Couldn’t find a breaker box. Some wall panels were literally falling off. We tried to make the best of it and relax in the hot tub, but it was so over-chlorinated my husband and I both got awful chlorine rashes. After trying to wash the chlorine off in a dark bathroom, we said this is ridiculous and went home in the middle of the night. I totally get that things happen, but this was a lot. The host was apologetic, but I did end up going to Vrbo and asking for a partial refund, largely in case we wound up with Dr bills from the chlorine. They didn’t even refund a third of what I paid, and it was pretty pricy for one night. It’s a charming property, it just needs to be managed appropriately.

We had a great time in Blue Ridge and at the cabin! The cabin is in a neighborhood up a mountain with paved road. Long windy road but easy to drive. The drive way is not paved and has drop at the front. Cars would need to go over it very slowly but SUV was fine! It’s wooded and fairly secluded from neighbors in the back with the woods in between. The inside is very cute and comfortable. It’s small but great for a couple. Lower level has a king and full bath past the kitchen. The 2nd king is in an open loft area. There is not a Mountain View but the woods are nice and it’s quiet. We loved the hot tub! Hot tub is covered so if it rains you can still enjoy. There are tvs in main and bedroom. We went for anniversary so just wanted to relax and spend some time hiking and down town BR. It was convenient to get to down town and stores. Communication was great and we had no issues!

Communication with host was clear and precise. We received instructions regarding checking in and other information on rules to follow and facilities available in timely manner and there was no confusion. Joel was excellent!!! The place was lovely. Very calm and quiet. We saw deers roaming around and we loved watching them. WiFi was great! The place is well organized. It’s small but has everything we need. Cabin is very clean. I was happy with the clean kitchen and bathroom. But it would be great if more thoughts were given about dusty shelves and exteriors. Especially small cobwebs were all over patio walls and windows . I know with the surrounding vegetation it’s inevitable. But cleaning crew can do a better job when preparing the place for a stay. I know it’s not on hosts as they don’t live there.And finally I want to say that we spent a perfect long weekend together in this place and it was indeed a getaway. I would recommend this place to any small family or a few friends looking for a time away from busy world!!!
