While the location is private and remote, this hilltop panorama is just a short 10-minute drive to the world-class surfing and beachfront restaurants of Hermosa Beach.



The Space:

This home is spectacular in every way. Creatively designed where both homes have their own privacy and designated spaces. Lots of glass, shade, ocean views as well as jungle and mountain vistas.



There is a bar area on the terrace next to the pool with its own bathroom, gas grill, & outdoor sink where you can entertain friends and family while enjoying the lush rainforest around the perimeter of the property, and also take in the most amazing sunsets from the fantastic infinity swimming pool.



BEDROOMS & COMMON AREAS



All 6 bedrooms have large glass windows and large sliding doors that open up to porches and sitting areas with jungle, pool, or ocean views.



Main House

The main house has FOUR BEDROOMS, three on the main floor and one independent downstairs bedroom, which is accessed through an outdoor staircase surrounded by wildlife and jungle. Both bedrooms on the main floor have luxurious queen size beds and share one large bathroom detailed with hardwood and lime stone walls. On a mezzanine, access by a ladder (not intended for kids), there are two queen beds and one pull out sofa, adding extra space for more guests. The bottom room serves as an apartment with a kitchenette, has one queen size bed and its own private bathroom.

The bright, equipped kitchen, open to the dining area, has a convenient breakfast bar/Island at the center and an amazing view of both jungle, pool, and ocean.



The welcoming open-plan living and dining area with its large glass sliding doors and windows, huge screen TV, and a top loft, make this home perfect for lounging and relaxing with the whole family while enjoying the view outside.



2nd House

This space was recently renovated and is fully furnished. The bedroom has a king-size bed, walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom. This, too, has views towards the gardens, the mountains and ocean views.

Guest House

The “guest house” is also fully furnished and has one bedroom in a second floor with large glass windows and sliding doors that open up to shaded sitting areas with views of the ocean and the pool. The bedroom has a closet and ensuite bathroom detailed with limestone walls. Downstairs, there is a spa fully equipped with 2 massage tables, ice-bath and tranquility for you to enjoy.

OUTDOOR AREA

This home has an amazing outdoor area. The property is very spacious, and you can see the ocean from the whole front perimeter. It has a large fire pit and a sitting area all around, with an amazing tree next to it. The swimming pool is next to the outside bar, and it's surrounded by palm trees and plenty of shade. It's the perfect place to lounge, enjoy the sun and possibly a BBQ and a good drink. Additionally, you will have access to an outdoor gym area with necessary equipment if you'd like to do some exercise.



Due to the size of the property, the way it faces the ocean, and the well-kept lawn, this house is perfect for weddings, high-end parties, or retreats. Inquire about our event fees and details.



Guest Access:

Guest have access to the whole property except for the middle house which is off limits.



The Neighborhood:

Because of its altitude Cerro Fresco -meaning “cool hill”, always has a fresh breeze and very pleasant temperature. There are many beautiful homes and retreats in this area due to the amazing ocean views and exorbitant jungle. If you enjoy nature, wildlife, and the sound of cicadas… this is the place for you. This neighborhood is quiet and peaceful all around. This area is also full of beautiful birds all year round! Toucans, scarlet macaws, kiskadees… Also lots of monkeys, sloths, coatimundis and other native mammals are a daily sight making this location perfect for birdwatching lovers and wildlife photography enthusiasts.

There are plenty of trails to explore and hike!

You will not find restaurants or supermarkets nearby but you will find everything you need at just a short drive to Playa Hermosa where you will find wonderful beachfront restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and the best waves for surfing!



Getting Around:

We recommend to our guests the use of 4x4 vehicles since the road to home can be very steep. The road is paved but it could be slippery when it rains.





Renting a car or booking a dedicated daily driver for your group are the best two options that we can help accommodate for your trip in order to move around town with ease.





We don't recommend trying to rely on taxi service or Uber due to the fact that rates might be too high and service coverage will not always be available in the area.
