Enjoy trulys spectacular views from the front porch of this quaint Mid-Century Modern, 3 bedroom 2 bath home located on the Inter-coastal Waterway in the historic pioneer settlement Susannah, four miles south of Fort Pierce and twelve miles north of Jensen Beach, Florida.
Relax in the master suite, featuring a spacious king bed and a private seating area perfect for television watching. The two other bedrooms boast full-sized mattresses and ceiling fans, ensuring a comfortable and inviting space. A connected 1 bedroom apartment is available with an additional fee for up to 2 more guests.
The front porch is the best spot on the property. Cooled by sea breezes, enjoy an amazing view of the lagoon and expect to see water crafts of all sorts moving along the Inter Coastal Waterway.
You will see all kinds of local birds like Brown Pelicans, Ospreys, Swallow-Tailed Kites, Great Egrets, Great Blue Herons, Bald Eagles, Ibis, Frigates and Sand Hill Cranes who are often found walking up the driveway and in the back yard. Watch for dolphins swimming and playing out front and occasionally a manatee will slowly swim by.
Florida is know for its wildlife. Remain aware and do not feed or approach the wild animals.
There are railroad tracks at the back of the property. For your safety, please do not approach or cross the tracks. Some of the trains travel at a high rate of speed.
The speed limit on the road is 25MPH, however use caution and not all obey speed limit.
**Small Dogs Under 25lbs with pet fee (NO CATS ALLOWED). Contact the host with any questions.
The common laundry facilities are located in the carport behind the main house and is shared amongst the three dwellings.
There is a 3BR house, a 1BR apt & a 2BR cottage on property.

The property brought joy
The river house was a total joy! We had the pleasure of staying in the house for 8 weeks. Each morning the house was full of sun and the porch was the best place to be at sunrise. Our host, Kelly, was so hospitable during our stay and very easy to contact. We enjoyed the history of the house, and enjoyed the owners welcoming us. We highly recommend this property for your retreat! Going back
