About this space
Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. This home was just built, be the first to stay! Sound Sea Village is a quaint neighborhood on oceanside. Very short walk to the beach. There is also a multi use walkway on the soundside. We are very close to restaurants and many other activities.
The space
We have 3 King masters and 1 bunkroom for the kiddies, spacious great room and kitchen for those family gatherings. This opens to a nice covered porch. The downstairs has a comfortable den with wet bar, huge flat screen tv.
Guest access
Entire home except for owners lockup located in hallway.
Other things to note
7 day minimum starting week of May 4th through week of Sept 22nd with a SUNDAY ONLY check in and check out.
3 day minimum stay all other times, no restriction on check in or check out.

We had a wonderful stay at Sandy Pants. The location was very convenient, and the proximity to the beach was perfect for our family. The kitchen was well equipped and the “kids” (17-20) enjoyed the cornhole and having a separate area in the lower level to hang out. We really appreciated being able to check in a bit early, and how clean the house was. We would definitely stay again!

This is a great house -- it's well appointed, clean, and has a comfortable layout. The deck is perfect for morning coffee or relaxing in the evening. The kitchen is very well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and all kinds of things you need for cooking at home, which I really appreciated. It's a short walk to the beach and has easy access to the path along Duck Rd. Great and comfortable house with the bonus of being pet friendly! We really enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved this house! It was perfect for our family. The location was wonderful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was super clean. I had a few questions, and the owner responded quick. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Loved It!

We came with our family and our teenagers each brought a friend. The house was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. It was an easy walk to the beach. Communication about the rental was super easy. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great spot in Duck!

I traveled to Duck with my hubby, son, DIL and 2 lil grandbabies. It was the lil guys first visit to OBX and we had the pleasure of being the first guests at Sandy Pants! The home is everything the description says and more, even better than the pictures show. It is beautifully decorated and VERY well equipped. The kitchen has everything necessary for preparing meals, and the host provided many thoughtful items like coffee supplies, wine stoppers and start up cleaning supplies/paper products. The upper level has 3 beautiful bedrooms and 2 baths (one with a tub, perfect for children). Lower level has a king bedroom with bath and another seating area that includes a counter area with small sink & mini fridge, we loved having this extra space and fridge. The weather wasn’t great while we were there but we still enjoyed taking the short walk to the beach. Due to the weather we didn’t use the supplies, but chairs, boogie boards etc were provided. The outdoor space includes a covered upper porch and a covered partially enclosed carport that was great for getting the lil ones in & out of car during rain but also for getting some outside play time while staying dry. Rain or shine Sandy Pants is a perfect place to stay in a great spot convenient to both Duck & Corolla! We definitely plan to return!
