This house was a great space for our family of 8. We loved the pool. The grassy area was great for our dog and it was an easy neighborhood to walk in. The house had everything we needed and the owners were excellent with communicating.

We stayed at "Our Happy Place" for our annual family vacation. The house was as listed and everything that we needed was available. We did communicate a couple of concerns upon arrival that were partially addressed by the owner. They have done a good job on the upkeep of the property.

We’ve stayed at this house several times. It’s on a quiet street while still close to the beach (a couple minutes drive with all your stuff). You can see the ocean from the top balcony - a great spot to enjoy morning coffee. Enjoyed the pool, hot tub, napped in the hammock - it was a fun and relaxing week.

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. There was plenty of room for our family of 7, and we love that it’s animal friendly. The kitchen was well stocked with most things we needed. There’s a great selection of movies available for the whole family and the game room has lots to do. Having the pool is really nice, and the yard has plenty of room to take your dogs out.We You can see the ocean from the top deck of the house, but we found driving to the beach access was the best way to get there.

I just feel in love with this beach house. It has everything one might need and much more. Great communication with host. The only my regret was having to leave the island and beach house. Everyone was very accommodating and friendly on the island as well. It truly was an amazing time at beach house celebrating my girlfriend’s bachelorette getaway!

7 adults, 2 children. Plenty of space. Enjoyed pool, hot tub, nearby beach. Professional photo shoot Nags Head beach, Waterpark, mini golf, Go carts, sunrises on beach a minute away, drove nearby for sunset at big sand dune. Enjoyed most breakfasts and dinner at house, convenient, well equipped. Walked the neighborhood. Out for ice cream and afternoon cocktail. Full great week. Thanks for sharing your home with us. Matt was super prompt in responding to my questions. We like to stay somewhere different every year but will definitely recommend your place to others.

OBX Vacation

We had an amazing time staying at Our Happy Place rental. Loved the location, the pool/hot tub/rec room!!! Close to the beach, added a few extra beach chairs & cooler for future guests to enjoy. Owners quick to respond to questions & requests! Will stay here again in we head back to OBX.

Great Family Vacation

The house was great, plenty of room for all 8 of us plus two dogs. Pool was nice when we needed a break from the beach.Public parking for the beach was just a minute away. Owner was helpful with answering any issues/questions we had.
