Beachwood is a serene beach house retreat located in the Cherry Grove section of North Myrtle Beach, just a short walk from the peaceful area known as "The Point." This home offers a quiet escape with beautiful views of the intracoastal waterway.

Serenity

I stayed a few days in the off season and my dog had the opportunity to run around on the beach and in the surf. The location is great to get to the beach as it is 1 block away. We loved fishing in the channel out back and enjoyed settling in around the fire pit in the evening. This place is roomy, well maintained and we had a very pleasant stay.

The house was terrible. The area rugs were filthy and one was reeked of urine. The furniture was old, dirty and broken. The couch was filthy..had to put towel on to sit. Pots and pans were unusable..scratched and damaged. Blinds were broken and missing slats.

Great location 
.. not very clean

We booked this to have Thanksgiving with our son . We rented up stairs and downstairs 
. If you are renting downstairs u should rethink 
. It had a very bad mildew smell which when we woke up the next morning the roads were flooded so I’m assuming it has been under water . The smell was so bad we couldn’t even use downstairs . The upstairs rug were very stained and dirty . We found bugs in the bathroom and none of the Tvs worked when we got there . We called immediately . They sent a guy over . He was super nice and got most of the TVs working . This property is a great location besides the roads flooded but as for cleanliness it’s a thumbs down 
 also the couches had plywood under the cushions to hold the couch together so it was very uncomfortable 
. We have talked to them several times since then and they gave us 96.00 and we paid 1400.00 for the house for 2 nights 
. Needless to say we will not be renting from this company again .

Birthday Vacation Trip

I have chosen to not go into all of the details about this property & to show grace. I would not stay here again. Because of issues in the downstairs unit, 9 of us had to stay upstairs, sleep two by two on queen size beds, some family slept on the couch & made tight adjustments sharing two bathrooms. We invested $2500 for a birthday weekend to celebrate with elderly parents, so it was too late to cancel or get a refund or make additional arrangements, we had to press our way. Downstairs area needs a serious professional service that has been overlooked, again to show grace, I won't mention it here, however, I will share that three of my family members are still having sinus challenges because of the needed issues to be addressed. The photos also do not show that the staircase connects only from the outside, there is no connection from the upstairs & the downstairs via the interior & that is not mentioned in the listing. The unit has photos that are professional in nature, so the crisp clean beautiful shots you see are not indicative of the stained rugs & bedding throughout. I think this could be a good unit once the issues are addressed in the lower level especially & with some updated rugs, linens & dusting. I am sure the property mgmt. company may reply behind me here, so please note, I made them aware of the issue the minute we checked in, shared with them I'm a Realtor & have owned a firm to include property mgmt. for 15 years. I know issues when I see them
