This was our second time at this property. Shawn was very responsive. The horse-shoe driveway sure makes it nice when pulling trailers. Hope to be back next year

Place was great exactly what was described. Been Staying in the area for years this was the nicest property we stayed at. Great for riding ORVS right next to gas station. Circle drive way for trucks and trailers. Very private no other places around. Will be our place to stay from now on.

We had a wonderful time during our stay, and the cabin provided everything we needed. We were in the area for a family reunion all weekend, and the location worked perfectly as our nightly home-base. The cabin was very clean, the decor was cute, and there was enough room for all of us (though we didn't spend too much time inside considering the beautiful weather we got over Labor Day weekend !) Beds were comfortable and everyone slept great after all the fun we had each day. The location was convenient for us too. A quick drive to our family reunion location, Wolf Lake store just down the road, and only a few minutes from town when we needed to grab some grocery items. We would definitely book this place again, and Shawn was a great host. Always quick to respond when I reached out with any questions. *** The loft bedroom is a great extra space. Our daughter has mobility issues, and the ladder/staircase is very steep and narrow, so just be advised if this is a concern for anyone else. She still managed to get up there, but it was tricky! Our other kids did fine! Thanks again Shawn! We hope to be back in the area next year and we would absolutely book your cabin again :)

For us, this was a weekend to familiarize some family members with guns, gun safety, and how different guns run differently and have different strengths and weaknesses. This couldn’t have been a more perfect spot for that. People took turns, shooting, watching the toddler who stayed inside when guns were being used, and hanging out and cooking. It was great, we went to Jones for ice cream in town, slept great and loved the cabin which plays its role perfectly. Truly one of the most unique weekends my family has had. Shawn was great, responds immediately to everything. Just loved it!

Very clean and cute cabin. It worked well for our families annual canoe trip. The loft stairs were a little tricky as they are steep and narrow, but we were able to navigate them and had no problems. Would rent again.

ATV Weekend

Outstanding host, communicated well. Went with my family to ride some of the trails in the Manistee National Forest and had a blast. Trails are very close and the property was well kept.
