Welcome to Salt Life at Oak Island brought to you by My Carolina Stay! This classic ocean front bungalow has been refreshed to enjoy a new chapter of beach front living. Pull up, unpack your bags and welcome to the beach! Enjoy serene ocean front views of sunsets, sunrises and hear the waves crashing as you sip your morning coffee. This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom beach bungalow that will meet all your needs at the beach to truly enjoy Salt Life living sleeping 9 comfortably. Primary bedroom has its own ensuite full bathroom and the guest bedroom and bunk room (sleeping 5) share a hall bathroom with walk in shower. If you have to do laundry, it is located on the ground level. Outside dining for 8 means you can eat al fresco while soaking in the gorgeous Oak Island sunsets. Salt Life living is the best living when you stay with us. Relax, refresh, unwind... it's easy to do here with easy beach access and a clean, updated interior. * We do not provide beach chairs as this amenity can quickly deteriorate and we always want to provide 5 star items. We can guide you to beach gear rentals on the island. *we do ask to sign a rental agreement and we utilize a security deposit hold before all stays to prevent blatant disregard for house rules ** If your dates are booked check out our sister property The Pink Flamingo at Litchfield Beach, SC - 1 block away from SC's top beach! 6 bedrooms and sleeps 15

Adorable beach cottage

Rental is spotless with terrific seating on the deck facing the beach. There is a beach access directly next to the home which is great for getting to/from the ocean quickly. There was a bit of foot traffic during the day.

Modern Beach Bungalow

Cute, old school beach cottage that has been remodeled and is well furnished and decorated. House is light, bright and cheerful. FYI to potential renters
sand rinse off hose on deck is connected to hot water
scalding hot if on for more than 10 seconds, W/D located below house in outdoor closet with sand floor. The master bedroom had major floor unleveling with a section of the floor that was tented with planks coming loose across the entire room. We made owners aware of the issue and they said they had plans to fix following our departure. I would make sure this is addressed as we tripped every time we walked through the room. Lovely section of the beach, easiest access ever and would definitely rent again if floor issues were fixed. No toiletries or K cups are provided so bring your own!

Last minute weekend getaway

The Salt Life was great for my last-minute weekend getaway. The house was clean and the renovation was exactly as the pictures showed. I loved the location since I was looking for a quiet weekend away but if you are interested in being closer into town and where the restaurants are then this may be a little too far for you. The beach was quiet and it was amazing to be able to walk right over the dune to the house.
