Cozy 1917 home with fun loft for kids.Close to birding & fishing.pets welcome

Enjoy exploring nature in many surrounding parks and Lake Erie and return to relax in a cozy house decorated with some treasures we found during our renovation. Enjoy a baked treat from the host :) for breakfast or on a day adventure to one of the parks. Possible early check-in if available upon request.
Within walking distance to local pub restaurant. Pets are welcome no weight limit. Linens are washed with scent free detergent.
Parking is available along the side of the house or in the driveway which is 50ft long (if bringing boat/trailer). Located near Meinke Marina, and 7min drive to public boat ramp.

Outdoor seating on the deck just outside the kitchen on nice days to listen to the birds or watch the occasional squirrel.

Location is less than a mile to Howard Marsh which has nice trails to walk/bike and areas to fish or kayak while enjoying the nature. Other nearby parks include Magee, Ottawa, and Maumee Bay State Park. It is also a close drive to Toledo or Port Clinton for additional activities.

Cute comfy place. A lot of close attractions. Howard Marsh is a must go to in the early morning. Bono bar and grill a block away has great food and service.

We used the house as a base to exlore Magee Marsh, Howard Marsh, and Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge.The house was clean and quiet and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything necessary for simple meals. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit with provided firewod.

Over priced for how small the place is. We ended our stay early due to not being comfortable. We couldn’t shower due to an odor in the shower and in the water. Gave our feedback to the host. Hopefully some changes are made.

Sorry you feel the way as above. After complaining about the water, I did come and change out the folder, while cleaning the house after your stay, ran the water for quite some time I do not smell the “odor” that you were talking about. No other guests have ever complained of this. Size of house is as pictured. Reach out to me if you want your clothing that was left behind hanging on the ladder.

House was very cozy. Had some issues with water and the host was extremely quick to come and help out! Very kind. Banana bread was fantastic! I’d stay here again for sure.

Friendly host who even made a fresh loaf of cinnamon bread for our breakfast. Everything was as described. A nice quiet stop to rest for the night on our road trip.

Everything was perfect. The house was adorable and cozy. My 5 year old was obsessed with the loft. Would definitely stay here again. Host was very responsive.

Great location for birding!

This cozy property was the perfect place to stay to bird the area. It had everything we needed for our overnight stay including great a/c and a sweet treat left by our host. Great communication and easy check in.

What a perfect house for a little family! Everything you need for a long weekend vacation. Where the house is- You are 30-40 mins literally from everything Toledo, Port Clinton, Sandusky, Michigan, and Cedar Point. The location was absolutely perfect if you don’t have an itinerary for Vacation. The house- The Mason dish-ware to the old decor hanging on the wall made the home very cozy. Fridge works great. House stayed very cool. Oven, stove, microwave, and coffee pot! Fire pit. Outside table.The Area- There is not much to do in the direct area. But two spots you’ll have to try is the Bono Tavern! I’ll just say yum!!! Wings are so good! And also to get a treat stop at DG’s Ice Cream!

We did enjoy the overnight stay. The room is rustic but had everything that was needed. The bed is a little lower to the ground. The host communicated nicely and was friendly.

Nice home, exactly as described and photographed. Very clean. Floors, plumbing fixtures, appliances, etc were all very good quality and nearly new. Place had a nice character to it !
