Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. 15 minutes to Burr Oak State Park,and Tecumseh Trails as well as 30 minutes to Old Man’s Cave. Sleeps 4. This is one of the most affordable rentals with accommodations in the area. Includes continental breakfast, linens, bedding and refreshments included in the price as well as minimal cleaning fees and no added charge for pets. Nestled in a friendly and quiet neighborhood, with privacy and mushroom hunting deer and squirrel hunting and ATV friendly area. Grill available, Fire pit corn hole boards. Shana,made us feel very welcome as if it was our home. We was in need of nothing. The place was very clean and well organized. To our surprise the tiny home was very spacious. My husband and I and our senior dog spent a weekend and hope to return .

There is a book in the tiny house, where guests can leave a note on their stay. Both guest wrote a note and it was so wonderfully written and from their heart, it made me well up with tears of joy as they had enjoyed their stay with memories so much.

Home was very neat and tidy. The fall decorations were welcoming. Shortly after we arrived wd there was a problem with the heating unit. Shana was there within 5 min!! They provided new propane tank and there wasn’t any further issues. She also had some milk , juice and breakfast items Very thoughtful

Big Things Come in "Tiny" Packages

Congo Tiny House had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It was warm and inviting with a comfortable bed and shower with amazingly hot water. The location was both perfect and peaceful. We will definitely consider staying again when we need another quick getaway!

Cute little place

This was our first stay in a tiny house & it is perfect for a short getaway retreat. All the essentials without a lot of frills, but still homey & inviting. There are several lose dogs in the area, but all seemed to be friendly. My husband & I went for walks around the area & never felt unsafe.

Relaxing trip

We loved the little house. Everything was super cute and cozy. I have back problems and the bed was comfortable. The host was great at communicating and left snack/drinks for us. Everything that we needed was provided. Thank you for a great place to stay while we were visiting the area.

Relaxing weekend!

I had a great time at the Congo Tiny House! Shana was great and always available if I needed something. House was very clean and tidy. It had everything that I needed from coffee to cereal and milk! I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a relaxing weekend or getting out and riding the nearby trails. I'm looking forward to my next trip! Thanks Shana!

My host experience was not the best; and the house had some quirks that were hard to overcome. First, the back door doesn’t fit the frame it is in and is hard to open and close. Next, the house is next to some type of community dumpster. Hard to get peace and quiet when four wheelers are continually pulling up to dump trash and staring straight into the yard and porches. I came to relax not hear four wheelers and see people.

I am so sorry about the door being so hard to open and have attended to that problem. Also, the community dumpster was there for only one week to help the area with cleaning and making our community more beautiful. My guest arrived on Wednesday and left on Friday. The dumpster was pulled on Friday and is no longer there. I hope my guest will return as I am always trying make our community a better place to visit and reside at.

We like to do all our own cooking of our meals, your tiny little house did not have the proper appliances to work with, the hot plate did not work properly, we also spent most of our time cleaning up everything before we could use it. But we completely cleaned everything before we left. Would have liked the house to be in a little more secluded area, even though all the neighbors were very friendly.

Enjoy our stay in Congo Tiny House

We stayed two nights in the tiny house. and it worked out perfect. We came to town to ride the Tecumseh trails. The house was about 10 minutes from the Trails. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with the few dishes we needed as we ate breakfast at the house. The house had a heater that kept us warm. The location was quiet. We would have enjoyed the firepit if it wasn't for the burn ban. The house could have used some shelving in the bathroom to place toothbrushes/beauty items but other than that it was great. We ate at the Black Diamon Tavern and Little Italy Pizza and enjoyed them. We appreciated that the towns were ATV friendly. We hope to visit again.

Neat as a pin

There was absolutely no difference between the property description and appearance from the property itself. There were some bonuses: fridge was stocked with fresh fruit, cheese snacks, water and juice. There were also individual packages of Cheerios, fruit loops and oatmeal as well as Folger's coffee and tea. The wifi was spot on with the password the same as on the modem. I could not have been more pleased. I could not have gotten a hotel room with the same amenities for less than another $100. , waterand juicewater
