THE VINTAGE COTTAGE

As you step inside, you'll discover a well-appointed layout designed for comfort and convenience.

The main level features three separate family/living rooms, each offering unique amenities.

One family room delights with granite countertops, a wine fridge, a sink, and cherry wood hardwood floors, with easy access to the backyard for outdoor enjoyment.

The second family room is cozy with a gas log fireplace and offers a comfy leather sofa near the dining room, perfect for playing games and making memories.

The kitchen is a chef's delight, showcasing granite tile counters, a gas stove, and wood cabinets, stocked with almost everything you would need to cook for the whole family/group.

Adjacent to the kitchen, a smaller living room boasts a wood stove, and TV, and offers easy access to both the front and back yards, creating an inviting indoor-outdoor living space.

For added convenience, the laundry room also provides access to the backyard.

A single bedroom is located adjacent to the TV room, allowing for an extra guest or friend to stay over.

Upstairs, in the new wing, the master suite offers bay windows and a full bath with a shower and skylight, and an indoor Jacuzzi tub creating a serene retreat.

The upstairs area also features a spacious bedroom with two queen beds, bay windows for natural light, a futon, and a TV.

The living room is a cozy gathering place for you and your guests, with a rare vintage wood-burning stove to keep you warm in the colder months. Bathrooms come equipped with cotton towels, toilet paper, and make-up towels.

Parking is plentiful with four+ vehicles in the driveway. NO street parking.

You have full and total access to our home during your stay except for a few locked owners areas such as the owner's closet and the garage. Feel free to stream any of your subscriptions on our Smart TV, make a home-cooked meal for your family in our kitchen, or jump in your car and head out to the South Shore for shopping or an epic view of the Gondola at Heavenly.

You have the place to yourself, but we are just a phone call or text message away if you need us.

Alpine Cottage Hideaway is located in the heart of Stateline, Nevada. Our cottage offers a cozy and comfortable space for your South Lake Tahoe adventure.

- Approximately 5 minutes away from Heavenly Mountain Resort, Heavenly Village, Lake Tahoe, and Stateline Casinos

- Approximately 10 minutes away from Base Camp Pizza Co., Van Sickle Bi-State Park, and Round Hill Pines Beach Resort

- 1 to 1.5 hours by car from Reno Airport

The SouthShore Cottage offers the perfect base for your adventures in this picturesque region. With your car, you can easily explore beyond Stateline, visiting nearby towns, hiking trails, and beaches around Lake Tahoe. In the summer months, just about any car will do, but you will definitely want a four-wheel drive in the winter.

There is a key provided inside the lockbox at the front door of the home and the lockbox code will be provided to you after you book with us.

You will have access to our digital guidebook and house manual so you can enjoy a stress-free stay with us at the cottage.

Please be advised that certain amenities are subject to seasonal availability due to weather conditions. These amenities—including but not limited to BBQ grills, outdoor seating, fire tables, beach chairs, ice melt, and similar features—are dependent on weather and operational considerations (e.g. often not available at stores during transitional seasons). Availability may vary based on seasonal factors. If you have any questions regarding the readiness of amenities during transitional seasons, please feel free to contact us. While we strive to maintain access to all amenities year-round, outdoor amenities are generally only available during June - September. Also note: county regulations restrict street parking at all times, so please park in the driveway only, or your vehicle will be ticketed and/or towed.

If you would like to host any sort of gathering at our home, please discuss this before arrival and we will try to accommodate your request.

Please treat the home with respect as there is a deposit and background check on all bookings. Profiles that are brand new with no prior reviews, or have less than 3 reviews total at a 4.5 rating or less out of 5 will be required to answer additional questions. The damage deposit is fully refundable at the end of a reservation assuming there is no damage to the property.

Please note that profiles with a review rating of 4.5 stars or less will not be allowed to book our property on an instant book basis and if for whatever reason the reservation is confirmed through the system, the reservation may be canceled. For guests with new profiles without reviews, these requests will be reviewed manually and will be subject to screening and questioning before a reservation may be confirmed.
