Lovely property. We enjoyed our stay . We were 12 adults , knew about one room with bunk beds but did not realize how small that room was with no chair to sit , had only beds which was very uncomfortable . Also would have liked to have a box of tissues in each bathroom.

The Good: Kitchen well stocked, Great, Huge,Clean outdoor Grill, Great location to Lake Arrowhead, Amazing View and decks, Bathrooms clean. Extra Beach towels, and great space for family. Avantstay was responsive when needed.The Bad: Not enough bath towels and hand towels for the week. I don't mind washing but should be extra sets for turn around. Only had 1 dryer as one was non-functional.*Internet is spotty and will log you out constantly all day. Needed to call Avantstay for issues more than we should have in first few days, although they do respond. General housecleaning was not satisfactory.

Thank you for the organized and fair rundown! Glad the views, decks, grill, and family space delivered for the week. The towel counts, broken dryer, spotty internet, and housekeeping standard are all with our team as priorities, because a home this good shouldn't need that many calls. We'd welcome the chance to host a smoother stay next time!

Beautiful house! We were a group of 9 ladies on a church retreat. We had plenty of room to spread out. Each room had its own bathroom. Big kitchen and downstairs there was a sink and a full size refrigerator. One thing of many that we appreciated was when we arrived, end of July during heat wave, upon arrival we went walked in the house and it smelt so clean and the central A/C was on so the house was cool. Every lady in our group loved this place and agreed to booked it again for next year!

A church retreat with nine ladies sounds like a wonderful reason to gather, and we are so glad the home gave everyone room to spread out with their own space. Lake Arrowhead Spacious Retreat

Great property, perfect for our large group of family & friends. While the property was a bit dated, the bathrooms in every bedroom were great, as was the deck spaces and views.

Great Experience

The home was beautiful, the location and view is also great. The house was clean and kept very nice. The experience was amazing. Perfect snow days and nights as we arrived. We had an awesome time. They also allowed us to stay bit longer as they understood our situation with the snow on the roads as we were heading out. Very helpful host as well.

Aged/Secluded Home but Great Experience

The home is aged a but well taken care of. The location is secluded and takes a bit longer to drive to/from adding to the drive time to the lake and other areas of interest, but the upside is little if any car/people so very quiet with some great views out of the rear. The one thing to keep in mind about Lake Arrowhead is that it is a PRIVATE LAKE so there are no boat rentals I could find, public beach access nor fishing unless you are a resident or staying at the lodge. We did not realize this until after we booked but THANKFULLY the home had 2 resident ID's allowing our group access to fishing, but still no realistic shot at boating. I don't remember seeing this (ID access) in the listing info but perhaps it's something not to be advertised. As it was still somewhat chilly, no boating was ok but keep in mind if renting in mid summer and wanting to have lake activities. Lake Gregory, 15-20 mins away DOES have boat rentals, fishing, and beach/water park access so perhaps better to stay there if being on the water is important. The fishing is good I heard, but no Lake ArrowheadThe fishing at Lake Arrowhead is legendary and I can easily see why. We caught 6 12-18" 2-3 lb rainbows morning and night, my youngs kids got the experience the fun of reeling in a great sized trout by themselves. Members with badges (actual owners, not weekend guests like us) were pleasant and the Lake patrol guy was cordial and didn't ask us any questions about our badges or status.
