Overall the cabin is very nice. Although beware of the stairs. The boards are loose on one of the landings and it pinched my bare foot pretty bad. Also, there is nothing in the listing or pictures indicating the state of the driveway. It’s very hilly and would be treacherous in inclement weather. We had to cut our trip short by a day due to a snow storm coming in, as we did not want to get trapped there. The Hosts had nothing to say to us about that other than “ok”. Yes we knew a storm was coming in, but if we had known about the state of the drive, we likely would have canceled ahead of time.

Very peaceful warm cozy cabin. Was a nice relaxing weekend. Only issue we had was the bath tub drained super slow.

As far as amenities goes the family room recliner chair was broken. The back was twisted/coming apart from the right side, and the chair would not recline. The teflon skillets and pans were so scratched up and scared that it didn't seem safe to cook with. The chairs around the firepit were plastic with cracks and I actually sat down in one and fell through it with my butt hitting the ground and the chair split into 30 plus pieces. I wish I knew the lawn chairs were in this condition because I could have brought my own lawn chair that is safe and comfortable. The last thing I have to mention that I will ask as a question is why would someone rent out a vacation home and want 5 stars put out one ply toilet paper?

We had a great stay with our 2 dogs and 3 month old! The hot tub was clean and warm. The place was tidy. We loved how secluded it was. The place was nicely decorated. We would definitely return!

Nice little cabin in a quiet area! About 25 minutes from popular trails and easy to reach groceries. Host was easy to reach for questions.

The cabin was very cozy and clean. The kitchen had everything that we needed. We really enjoyed our stay. Problems, grill was not unable, hot tub did not get hot, toilet kept adding water off and on and at night was noisy and some of the chairs by the firepit were broken.

We were very happy with our stay. Very clean and had all necessities we needed for simple meals. Decorated cute for fall. We loved how secluded it was and the kids loved the indoor and outdoor games. Perfect for our family of 5. There are stairs down to the bathroom from bedrooms which were questionable for our 4 year old to go to the bathroom over night if staying with littles, but was easy for him to get to our room for help. We could not get the hot tub to heat up as others have mentioned which wasn’t a big deal to us, but may consider written instructions for it for others. We would recommend and will definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this clean, cozy cabin! It was the perfect spot for a girls’ hiking getaway—peaceful, comfortable, and close to great trails. The cabin had everything we needed and felt like a true home away from home.What really stood out was the owner’s kindness and communication. We had an unexpected situation come up and needed to discuss possibly rescheduling due to a last-minute funeral, and the owner was incredibly understanding and accommodating. That level of compassion and flexibility meant so much.Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a relaxing, well-kept retreat with a wonderful host!

This property is charming & lovely, & in a perfect location. The hot tub seemed to have difficulty heating up, but aside from that, everything was perfect, & my family & our dogs enjoyed our little getaway.

Very quiet and cozy

The cabin is lovely and the layout is perfect for a small group. We loved the look of the kitchen so much! The cabin has shuffle board and a whole cabinet stocked full of really good board games. There’s also an extensive collection of dvds. We had a bit of trouble getting the hot tub to warm up, but after a short google search we managed to get it out of sleep mode and it heated right up. I also couldn’t get the keurig to work. Not sure if that was user error or not. If I would suggest anything it would be to update the photos of the outdoor area. There is no longer an umbrella by the hot tub, nor is there a canopy tent for the grill. The landscaping could use some maintenance as the path to the fire pit was littered with empty mulch bags. Overall we were happy and the cabin served us well for our stay. Thank you very much!

Anniversary Stay

We chose to explore Hocking Hills for our 1 year Anniversary. We very much enjoyed the cabin, cozy and private. Didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub because of the weather, everything was good.
