Munduk Mountain Estate is fully staffed and serviced, with daily housekeeping, an in-villa cook, and our wonderful manager who knows the local area intimately, and is there to help you with anything you need for your stay.

THE ACCOMMODATION
From the large multiple sofas that you sink luxuriously into too, to the intimate dining area. The fine touches throughout Munduk Mountain Estate, put this stunning home in a league of it's own for comfort and style. Designed by a French architect who has made his home in Bali for the past 25 years, the home features modern European design in a cosy mountain chalet feel. A modern villa in a rustic style, with Balinese and Indonesian touches throughout. The design seemlessly blends in with the natural beauty of Munduk.

All the bedrooms, all have solid wooden furniture and carefully selected soft furnishings to give the ultimate comfort and a relaxing night sleep.

THE BEDROOMS
The Master Suite - is situated on the far side of the estate, wrapped by forest and mountains, with windows on one side, and large double doors at the front of the room (kingsize double bed & ensuite full bathroom with bathtub).

Stretch out on the cushioned window bench or curl up on the armchair to admire the view. Sip your morning coffee as you step out onto the deck in front of your room, Overlooking our private coffee plantation where it grows. The huge ensuite bathroom takes every opportunity to showcase the view and take advantage of the natural light. With a free standing large granite bathtub located next to a large arched window with custom carved shutters & oversized shower.

The Suite – Situated next to the master suite, with a king size bed, armchair and bench. The large double doors opening to the epic view in front. With an ensuite bathroom complete with shower.

The Bunkbed room – Specially designed and created for the estate, the unique four adult sized bunk beds line one side of the large 3rd bedroom. There are an additional 2 slide out beds under the bottom bunks allowing 6 people to sleep comfortably. This bedroom uses the main bathroom in the living space. Perfect for large groups of families.

The Downstairs Bedroom - Newly renovated, the 4th bedroom sits alone underneath the main estate, allowing for seclusion and privacy with it's own terrace looking over the incredible valley in front. The room can be set up as kingsize bed or twins depending on your preference. With its own ensuite bathroom.

Additional bed options: The standard rental rate for the Estate is based on 4 bedrooms and 8 guests, however the villa can accommodate up to 14 guests. You can have 6 guests in the bunkbed room plus the media room can be converted into a double bedroom if needed accommodating an additional 2 guests. Charges apply for more than 8 guests or if additional beds / bedrooms are required.

DINING
Munduk Mountain Estate is a fully catered villa, with our in house cook ready to prepare amazing meals for you throughout your stay. Allowing you to enjoy restaurant quality food without having to leave the comfort of the Estate.

Enjoy the fresh crisp mountain air from the surrounding deck, sip local sourced coffee as you overlook the organic plantations where it grows. Enjoy a chilled glass of champagne whilst luxuriating in the open air hot plunge as you look across the expansive valley towards the ocean and Java, roast marshmellows on the fire pit, or swap stories of the day as the spectrum of orange and reds fill the sky as the sun sets over Batu Karu and the neighbouring mountains. With a private pool in addition to a large fully equipped kitchen with indoor and outdoor dining areas, Munduk Mountain Estate is a stunning home you will never want to leave!

Magnificient ancient forest, organic coffee plantations, volcanos, sacred lakes and authentic local life. Munduk is a mountain village that is full of charm and natural beauty. Due to the elevation the air is crisp and fresh. For the adventurous in spirit, there are incredible hikes through jungle trails, or even to the summit of one of the many mountains, where you will be rewarded for your efforts with an abundance of colourful flora and fauna, and picture perfect landscapes, isolated waterfalls and sweaping views.
