The space
Imagine sitting on your lanai, overhanging the lava cliffs of the southernmost point of Kauai where you can see the sunrise and the sunset in the same day! There is nothing between you and the whales except the shades of blue of the Pacific Ocean.

Extraordinary in every way from its soaring ceilings to its oceanfront expanses of glass. This luxurious condo was renovated to include quartz counter tops in the kitchen and every amenity needed for a special meal at home. The master bedroom is oceanfront with views to die for when you awake in the morning. In the luxurious living room, you will find all brand new designer furniture. The mattresses are also new, the flooring is new and all the luxurious linens are also new, so you will feel pampered from the moment you walk in. Additionally, we just installed a new air conditioning system, so the entire condo (including both bedrooms) now has a/c/!

This condo is located in sunny Poipu with access to the famous beaches near by. You are just minutes from the finest restaurants on the island. There is a reason that USA Today named the Makahuena Resort as one of the ten most romantic places to stay in the world....... This is stunning. When you walk through the double entry doors into the living room, your jaw will drop!

Enjoy all the conveniences of being at home. The gourmet kitchen has everything you would ever need to create an island feast. There’s an inside dining area that seats up to 6, but you will probably find yourselves outside on the incredible lanai most of the time taking in the unforgettable views!!

If you love the water and the wild beauty of the ocean, there is no other place to stay than Hale Ehu Kai (Sea Spray House).

The condo was lovely and had everything up to date for our two-couple getaway. Breakfast on the lanai each morning made our vacation! The beds were very comfortable and we slept well, and the condo had all the beach things that we needed. We would absolutely return and encourage you to experience Kauai with this condo as your base! Danna was very responsive, both to questions beforehand and when we had a slight air-conditioning issue at the condo, which was resolved quickly.

An amazing location and view

Impossible to say enough about the entire experience. The property, the location, the host, the amenities were perfect. As we left the property today we agreed that we couldnt have done better even if we had researched all our options. Definitely coming back!

Perfect home base in Poipu!

Very comfortable condo, RIGHT on the water, sounds of the crashing waves on the rocks are amazing. Big open views, saw Whales, Turtles, and Dolphins. Very nice pool, grass areas, flowers! BBQ on-site. 10-15 minute walk to Poipu Beach, and beautiful walk the other direction to Shipwreck Beach, liked the Hawaiian decor. Very responsive property manager.

Beautiful View Condo

This condo literally sits right on the shore over the rocks. We were able to see the sunrise and sunset from the balcony. Morning coffee and breakfast were spent watching the sea turtles and we were able to see a whale on our last night. The bathrooms appear to newly renovated. The owner communicated well and check in was easy. We did have to call the island contact for one small issue that he immediately responded to and took care of us. We enjoyed our stay.

Amazing place and location

I can’t say enough positive things about the condo or the owner. Communication was exceptional and everything was seamless. The condo is incredibly well stocked and we wanted for nothing. The deck looks right out on a cove where we watched sea turtles every morning and evening. The short walk to Poipu was super convenient and we were able to enjoy everything the island had to offer with ease. This is truly the best rental we have ever stayed in.

Better Than Ever

This property is the first place I stayed in which the pictures did not truly capture the beauty of the views. The pictures were impressive and they were why we selected this location, but walking through the door was jaw dropping.

Too perfect

The property was perfect! Fabulous view of the ocean, updated interior, comfortable beds, great location, and walking distance to Poipu Beach. The house had everything we needed even condiments that we purchased without checking first. The beach chairs and towels were used and appreciated. The reason I titled this too perfect is because none of us wanted to leave. Can’t wait until next time!

The location is unmatched. Directly on the water. So peaceful watching the waves crashing in and hearing it all night long. Pure bliss. The home is well stocked. Beach gear, extra towels, soaps, many kitchen essentials. It seems this host is trying to make sure everything you might need is available to you and not locked away in the owners closet. So nice.Walk along the path to the east to shipwreck beach. Also pure bliss. Minor points: to sit on the balcony and enjoy the water you are sitting up straight at a high top we were wanting more comfortable seating. it’s hard to keep the floors clean with the sand that comes up on the balcony. We tried but kept tracking it in. These are minor points this place was a PRIME place to stay we will recommend to friends and would come back again.

An excellent stay in a remarkable location

We had a very comfortable stay in this tremendous location. The experience of being right on top of the cliff with the waves crashing just feet away is extraordinary. Communication with Chad, the property manager, was excellent, and when we had a small issue, it was resolved quickly. The bedrooms with attached bathrooms are separate from each other allowing privacy. The addition of air conditioning was most appreciated, especially since the wall facing the ocean is mostly glass with sun during the day, and given the thunderous sound of the crashing waves. We saw whales, spinner dolphins, and turtles from the condo. It is appropriately named “the sea spray house”, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Mahalo Chad!

Breathtaking views

This property is all about the view. If you enjoy views of the ocean and falling asleep to sounds of crashing waves then this is the place for you. I don’t think there is another property in Poipu with a better view of the ocean. It is breathtakingly beautiful. We loved to sit on the balcony and watch the crashing waves. We saw turtles every day swimming below and a few times saw spinner dolphins passing by. The proximity to Koloa and Poipu Beach is also a plus. The condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a nice sized living area, and kitchen. We did bring a few minor issues to the owner’s attention and he was quick to respond. He offered to look into the issues while we were there, but opted for him to look into them after we left. . They did not take away from our comfort during our stay. Chad was very easy to communicate with. Also this unit has air conditioning, which I feel is a must in Hawaii. The humidity can at times be a bit much. I think the price point on his condo is on point. The view and location can’t be beat.

Spectacular views from a lovely space

We had a wonderful stay in Poipu! The condo has just what you need for a great Kauai adventure. The sunrise and sunset views (and all-the-time views!) are particularly spectacular! We could even see Sea Turtles in the water right from the balcony!

Oceanfront Condo

Beautiful view from the balcony, we could see turtles and rays. Quiet and nicely landscaped condominium grounds. The condo we stayed in had everything you needed. We had beach chairs, noodles, umbrellas and a wagon to haul it all to the beach. I would recommend staying here.

Ticket to paradise

We loved this place! Location, location location! We went with another couple who were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They, of course, got the bedroom with the ocean view and were thrilled listening to the waves all night. The place had everything we needed to go to the beach..deluxe beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and a wagon to pull it all. Even though we walked to Poipu Beach to see the green sea turtles and monk seals, we enjoyed Shipwreck Beach more which was only a 5 minute ride. It was not as crowded and enjoyed watching the cliff jumpers and surfers. Every morning sitting on the balcony, we saw sea turtles and dolphins. We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful place!

Nice place in a great location!

The location of the property overlooking the ocean was great! We saw humpback whale pods every day of our stay and sea turtles swimming right below us! Beaches are within walking distance east or west of the property. Grocery stores, shopping, weekly farmers market, and restaurants are all within a short walk or drive. Great sunsets from the balcony or on the ground. The downside is that the ocean was often very loud as it crashed against the cliff side. With just the two of us in the unit, we could use the second bedroom to get sleep away from the sound if needed. The unit is very open with plenty of windows. Nicely decorated. The kitchen is a bit tight but manageable. Both bathrooms are somewhat dated and you need to be wary of ants in the kitchen who will show up at any sign of food on the counter. The rest of the property is well-maintained with ample parking. The pool was nice to have available and was never very busy. Took full advantage of the grills as well. Overall, we would recommend this to others.

Hale Ehu Kai (Sea Spray House) so perfectly named!

This condo was perfect! Loved drinking our morning coffee on the lanai, watching the sunrise. The property was fantastic, beds are comfortable, kitchen fully stocked and the laundry was so convenient to have in the unit. We did enjoy the pool too! We were grateful to have air conditioning in the unit. The average temperature was 80 degrees, with 75% humidity. Chad was awesome, fast responses to all of my messages. We did have an issue with the oven. I tried to call and left a message the local person, as per the paperwork provided, no response. Cannot wait to vacation in Kauai again, hoping to stay here again. Would stay again!

The condo was nice and even though there was a pretty good breeze when sitting out on the lanai we were grateful to have air conditioning inside to sleep by. August can be quite humid. We saw turtles playing and eating in the surf on the cliff below everyday. One day we say a monk seal and spinner dolphins. The condo is roomy and was well stocked. The area has beautiful walks. I enjoyed the one along the shore that takes you past the Grand Hyatt to a lovely but smaller beach. My only negative was the spa was not working but that is not the owners fault.

Oceanside escape

The next time we visit Kauai, we will stay here again. The views are fantastic. The condo is clean, well-stocked with kitchen utensils and cookware, and has tasteful upgrades to the furniture and floors. Overall, a welcoming and relaxing place to stay. It was a lovely home base for visiting all of Kauai.

We loved our stay here at the condo. We couldn’t have asked for a better location on the island. The view was awesome! We spent hours on the lanai just watching the waves crash into the lava rock.

Amazing location and beautiful, comfortable condo

We absolutely loved spending our vacation here! Prime location, we loved to sit out on the balcony spotting sea turtles and dolphin. Falling asleep and waking up to the sounds of the ocean. Poipu beach was our favourite beach, we saw sea turtles coming in to rest in the evenings and some still napping on the sand in the mornings. Great spot to snorkel and safe for the kids with the lifeguards and reef barrier. Salt Pond beach was another fantastic beach to take the kids to. Although it’s the South side of the island, you can still explore the whole island when staying here. We went to Waimea canyon, Hanalei Bay, Princeville, Ha’Ena State Park… all accessible to drive in a little over an hour. The property was great, beds are comfortable, kitchen fully stocked and the view is stunning. Highly recommend!
