Teach's Booty is a true treasure with ocean and sound views, a large 14'x30' pool, a 6-person hot tub, a jacuzzi, and spacious sun decks with LED lighting on the ocean-view balconies. This location offers just a short walk and direct access to a beautiful Salvo beach! Everything is here for a great family vacation.

Teach's Booty offers incredible ocean views and is just a short walk to the beautiful, wide beaches of Salvo. An in-ground swimming pool is ready for your entire family to cool off in from mid-May to mid-October, complete with a poolside grilling area. Enjoy the hot tub on the first level of one of this property's great sun decks. The captain's ladder to an enclosed viewing tower offers panoramic ocean and sound views and gives you almost an aerial view of the town of Salvo. This area features a flat screen TV, Playstation, Stereo and Bar area. There are smart TV's in the king and queen bedrooms as well as the living area. The twin bedrooms have tv monitors. The owners even provide hair dryers in the ground and top level bathrooms. There is a water cooler available, you just need to fill with your own bottles.

*Teach's Booty is pet-friendly. There is an additional charge for guests bringing pets, which will be added and collected after booking. Pet fees range from $161-231 depending on the property, and will be assessed state and local taxes. The owners are willing to accommodate up to 4 dogs. Please call the Salvo office at (252) 987-2766 for approval and to have the additional pet fee applied.

The property’s primary floor ac had gone out and was being worked on when we arrived. For the remainder of the stay it was incredibly hott down there to the point it made the following level even heat up. Only one of the three nights we stayed did we have running hot water as well on the primary floor, with the amount of guests that we had it made every shower for the following levels have no hot water. The pool was not heated as advertised, and the speakers to both the hott tub and pool were so corroded they did not work. The beds were wildly uncomfortable ranging from over used and you would sink into them or random springs that dug into your spine. The fans in the room need to be inspected/changed one shook so violently and made horrible noises we were afraid to even use it to help cool the room down. Master bedroom tub/sink were clogged/backed up as well that the water would sit stagnant from just barely running it. I’ve machine provided since the one in the fridge did not work had mold so we were unable to even make ice align with water tanks provided were entirely empty, so I’m unsure as to why they were even there. The only working tvs were the living room and one bedroom downstairs, others had no remotes or ability to connect with WiFi/ means to watch tv. Over all the home was dirty. Looked as if a vacuum had never need ran or a mop along with the microwave having food residue from previous. Overall wouldn’t recommend or use again.

We are sorry to hear that your stay was impacted by several concerns and understand how frustrating that can be during vacation. After receiving your report about the hot water, a tech completed repairs the following morning. We also responded to your concern about the thermostat and asked you to let us know if the temperature continued to rise so we could investigate further, but we did not receive any other updates. We would also like to clarify that this home is not advertised as offering pool heat and the water cooler is intended for guests to refill their own bottles as mentioned in the property details. Many of the other issues, including the fans, drains, icemaker, TVs, and cleanliness concerns, were not reported during your stay. Had we been aware of them, we would have welcomed the opportunity to address them while you were in the home. We’ve attempted to reach out several times since your departure and would appreciate the chance to speak with you further about your stay.
