Wonderful stay

The house was perfect for our family. It was neat and clean when we arrived and had everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet, the pool a beautiful spot to relax, and convenient to everything we wanted to do.

The house was cleaned okay. The pool still had sand in it and the bathroom floors were still visibly dirty. Did not receive the packet with trash and other info until asked for it but otherwise they communicated very effectively. There is not a gas grill, it is charcoal. Bedrooms were fine. Need more pillows for beds. There are a ton of mosquitos so definitely bring bug spray. We were all bit up. My kids loved feeding the turtles and the beach wasn’t a terrible walk although not the best with Littles.

Check and check out was easy. Close to a small mall with 24/hr grocery store. Short walk to beach, like 10-15 mins. Was a great experience, stayed there with extended family, 10 people plenty of space, pool was great. Small pond in back with lots of turtles, my nieces and nephews named the large one Barry.

Wonderful Family Vacation

The house was wonderful. Clean, wonderful location close to the beach, sound, Food Lion and smack in the middle between Hatteras and Bodie Lighthouses. The Crows nest on the top of the house is perfect for watching sun sets and the natural light all throughout the house is wonderful to wake up to. Convenient access from outdoors into each room made it wonderful to come and go without waking up the whole house.

Great time off the grid

My family and I had the perfect vacation at Reel ‘em in! The house was spacious with 5 bedrooms and lots of outdoor decks plus a screened in deck . We enjoyed the pool and pier where we saw turtles. The beds were comfy and the supermarket was literally next door , which was convenient for cooking at “home”. We also had a minor issue and they were quick to respond. We would come again in a heartbeat!

Had a great time, needs more towels

The home and property were great! Very private and plenty of space. We really enjoyed the pool and fishing in the lake. The only shortcoming was with the towels. We had 9 people, but only 8 bath towels and one kitchen towel. Had we known this beforehand we would have brought another 9-10 towels with us.

Nice house

Everything was great, we loved everything except that we feel the second master bedroom should’ve had a king size bed in it. Location was good as well but we weren’t able to put kayaks in water. Not many mosquitoes which was nice. We had a good time with our grandchildren in the pool.

5 "Drumpy Ol Men"

The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and there was plenty of parking for 5 trucks. We particularly liked the layout of the house. We didnt need the pool. We did catch a bunch of fish and did use the fish cleaning table. It was a great two weeks!

Very nice house, well-maintained, lots of space.

The pictures in the online ad describe the house very well. It is well-maintained, has lots of space, a beautiful roof terrace and a spacious pool area (closed during our stay in pre season). Very good and sufficient kitchen equipment available. Strange and very unusual that towels are only provided during main season. Nice neighborhood, only five minutes walk to reach the water in each direction. Grocery store Food Lion very nearby. Side note: No information provided upfront about a large construction activity going on next-door.

Great stay

The house was exactly as shown in the pictures, the rooms were spacious and plenty of room for everyone to spread out. There were plenty of puzzles, games for kids. The roof top deck was our favorite deck at night for the sunsets. We saw a momma deer with her babies, frogs, ducks, and lots of turtles, the wild life was a plus. The pool was a perfect size for cooling off after a long day at the beach. We had a wonderful vacation the only thing we wished for was is a full size grill instead of the small stationary grill outside that you find in a park. It was hard to use for the amount of people we were cooking for and had to buy a cheap grill to use along with it. Other than that, everything else was great. Thank you for allowing us to stay at Reel’em Inn to do exactly that. Would highly recommend.

Nice place, bad everything else

The house was basicallyas described, clean, and in a quiet neighborhood.60 pool heating fee wasn't disclosed in booking/listing. The pool was pretty dirty on arrival.Wifi network didn't exist. Didn't work for 24 hours, simple questions about where the router was took hours to answer. One bedroom doesn't have working lights.Living room tv didn't work. One bathroom toilet didn't flush.Weeks in advance, asked if the rental has a pack and play. They didn't. So we checked one and brought it with us... they had one.Propane fire place naturally had no propane.Charcoal grill is what you'd see at a county park.

Michael, thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the home clean and located in a quiet neighborhood, but we’re sorry that several aspects of your stay didn’t meet expectations. We understand how frustrating it can be to deal with issues like unclear amenity listings, Wi-Fi troubles, and maintenance concerns during your trip. We’re actively reviewing the listing to ensure all fees, such as pool heating, are clearly disclosed and that amenities like lighting, the TV, and plumbing are functioning properly. Your note about the pack and play and propane fireplace is also appreciated. We’ll be updating our communication and inventory checks to avoid confusion in the future. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience; we hope you choose to stay with us again soon.
