Stunning views for miles of the Cuchara Valley and Spanish Peaks! A recently upgraded 3 bedroom/1 bath cabin available to help make some wonderful memories. Sit on the deck and take in the view, with the entire valley on your left, the Spanish Peaks directly in front of you, and the Trincheras on your right! Cozy and modern within minutes of La Veta and the historic Cuchara village (and the famous Dog Bar)! Several lakes and lots of hiking awaits you! A mountain retreat you will never forget!

Comfortable with great location

Perfect location for exploring the Spanish peaks. This cabin has a great deck for relaxing and stargazing. Beds are comfortable.

Property was quiet and the cabin was cute and cozy! The views are what make this property spectacular! The cabin has everything you will need for your mountain getaway! Fishing is close by with a few options for lakes!

Beautiful property with comfortable beds and incredible views. Check-in was a breeze and owner worked with us on the check-in time. We loved the lack of WiFi, felt more like an escape (although cell service was strong if we needed anything). No dishwasher, which some might find off-putting, but not a problem for us. We thought it the perfect little cabin for a Colorado summer stay.

We had a very good time at the cabin & really enjoyed the view. Very comfortable beds also. We did not find out that you really need a 4-wheel drive to get up the driveway until the day before we got there because it was raining so hard. Luckily we had a 4-wheel drive vehicle. This really needs to be in the property description. Christine was very prompt responding to any questions which was appreciated.

A nice, relaxing getaway

This cabin was the perfect getaway for us as we celebrated our 20th anniversary. It was clean and neat. Our host was quick to respond. We would love to return again some day.

Fantastic Cabin

A beautiful cabin in the sky. The view is spectacular. The pictures do not do it justice. The beds, linen, and couches are very comfortable. Christina is very responsive and helpful. The property is clean and neat. It feels like you are home.We love this place, but come with the right expectations. It is a cabin. There is no washing machine, dishwasher, or internet (cell phone/hot spot work just fine). The driveway is steep, so a 4-wheel drive is recommended.

Great views!

Great views of the mountains! Perfect for a couple who want to be off the grid. Things I wish I would have known ahead of time: no WiFi on property (which makes tv unusable unless you have cell service up there - we did not), no washer/dryer, no dishwasher, gas fireplace doesn’t work, and minimal indoor lighting. Property was super clean though, beds were comfy, towels were super soft, property was quiet, and the views are unbeatable. If you want to be glamping and totally off grid, this is the place for you :)
