A real charmer built in 1915 , pet friendly , located next to Mark Twain lake.

You will be welcomed into a charming 1915 home furnished with a lot of period correct antiques. Home has unique loft area/bedroom. There are also 2 bedrooms on main floor. This home is turnkey, backyard is fully fenced for approved pets. This house has everything you will need to enjoy the quaint, small town charm of Perry Missouri. We have included a covered gazebo , a multitude of entertaining areas with your choice of gas or charcoal BBQ grills and all accessories.
Also a garage for plugging in boats and a huge parking area in back for rvs etc.

If you so chose not to enjoy the backyard , step around to the front porch. You will be able to set on the glider and watch / listen to a very cool rock waterfountain, or enjoy the hospitality of small town America .
This property is situated next to a beautiful city park, there is a hometown IGA grocery next door, so no worries if you forgot anything

The best part is this is it's 10 min from the world famous Mark Twain lake and all it has to offer, which includes wineries, boating, fishing, hunting. Or visit Mark Twains birth place. If this is too much , and you just want to take it easy, there is also a great city lake, Perry Lake, a few blocks away with excellent fishing.

Perry MO is also well known for antique shops .

Come enjoy some time with your family, you'll want to come back.

It is worth noting that there is plenty of parking in driveway and beside/behind the house. Parking is totally free, and part of this property. No worries about someone taking your spot.

Mark Twain Retreat

Very convenient for anyone visiting Mark Twain. Plenty of space, large fenced backed yard for your furry friends, & many conveniences to make your stay enjoyable. No need to stock up on groceries as there is a grocery right next door. Fire up one of the two provided bbq pits & enjoy the covered patio area with a table for 6.

Great pet friendly location near MTL

Have stayed here multiple times & love its proximity to Mark Twain Lake. Large fenced in yard for your fury friend, and a local grocery store right next door. Full kitchen, and gas & charcoal grills to coose from. Small park close by & plenty of quiet local streets to take a stroll through the neighborhood. Hosts are easy to get a hold of and very accommodating.

Great Rental!!!

This is our 2nd stay at this property and it was great just like the last time. Convenient location in town right next to the grocery store and 5 minutes from the lake. The house is spacious with plenty of room for everyone. Our dog enjoyed the big fenced in yard too! We will definitely be back again!

Great Family Hangout

I was visiting family in Perry so this was the perfect spot. When we weren’t on the go, we hung out and cooked many meals in the house. The kitchen was large enough for a few cooks and laundry was convenient. I will stay again!

Beautifully older house

Very nice house that has been decorated and restored awesome. Only problem which isnt to bad is the shower, kinda small and hard to keep water from spraying out but very nice place.

Beautiful Old Farm House

The home was just that. A beautiful centurion home that was cozy, comfy, and in the heart of Perry. The backyard patio and table was amazing for our family meals during our stay. All the modern convenience plus the beautiful home made our trip to Mark Twain Lake unforgettable.

A week in Perry

Tornados & bad weather struck 3 hours after we arrived in Perry. The whole town was without power until 2 or 3am the next day. We made the best of it by finding some candles in the house & made a little party out of it. The rest of the week was fun. Morel hunting, fishing on Mark Twain Lake & the Salt River. The people in the area were all so nice. We will definitely be back sometime. Thank you Greg & Chris! Cool place to hang out for a week.

Charming Old House

Great property with all the amenities of home. This rental supplies its guests with everything you need for your stay. The owners made many upgrades while preserving the details of a 1914 home. The woodwork, doors and original flooring throughout the house are beautiful. They did an awesome job! The huge backyard was perfect for our dog and had plenty of room for her to run around. The lake is only 5 minutes away which is super convenient! Chris responded to the few questions we had quickly. We are already planning our next stay in the area and we will definitely be booking this house again!
