Upper Twin Cabin - Beautiful Private Cabin near Olympic National Park

Peaceful cabin located on the North Olympic Peninsula about 30 minutes west of Port Angeles with views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Very private and secluded. Cabin has a master bedroom with a single queen bed and a bathroom with a commode, sink and shower. Living area includes a sleeper sofa. The cabin has all the comforts of home, including a gas refrigerator, gas stove, gas heat, gas water heater, and gas and battery operated lighting. Water is provided by a well on property. The Upper Twin Cabin is completely OFF-THE-GRID with no electricity, no Internet and no phone service. Guests MUST be comfortable with off-the-grid living and the minor inconveniences that can sometimes result.
Note the property has two cabins (Upper Twin Cabin and Lower Twin Cabin). This rental is only for the Upper Twin Cabin. The Lower Twin Cabin is a separate listing. The cabins are not within sight of each other. Both cabins can be rented together if desired to accommodate additional guests. The Lower Twin Cabin is Property ID: 3880706.

Awesome place. One of the most beautiful locations I've ever been, in the middle of the forest and with a view of the ocean. There's a river nearby and some great trails between massive trees in the forest. Looking forward to returning one day!

Just had a fantastic time at such a serene, lovely cabin. Definitely felt good to be off the grid and unplug for 5 days! Such a lovely location to go hiking around this beautiful area. So clean, simple, comfortable. Everything you need. Really appreciated our time here!

Great place for a basecamp to explore the area, or to catch up on your favorite novels. I did both the week I was there. Very peaceful, especially in evenings. Little to no cell coverage, which was a plus to me, but would be good to have printed instructions in the cabin for water/generator etc. Great place, super clean, comfortable, and peaceful.

It would be awesome if Jeff had Starlink internet at the cabin. For us guys that own companies we need to have internet access to get a hold of clients. This place was quite clean and a beautiful place to stay.

Perfect escape

I absolutely loved my stay at the upper cabin. The view was breathtaking, and the location couldn’t have been more perfect, secluded, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. The weather was ideal, and everything about the stay felt exactly like what I was looking for. It was the perfect balance of comfort and scenery, and I left feeling refreshed and grateful. Highly recommend if you’re looking to disconnect and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors.

Beautiful spot to get away

Incredible beauty to be seen while staying at the cabin. It is quiet and peaceful on the property and we could even see across to Canada. Had to follow the owners directions since the GPS was a little off, but was easy to remember after that.

Stay & Play in the WA Woods

The Upper Twin Cabin served as our home base for exploring Olympic National Park & the WA peninsula. While off-grid, it offered all the amenities & comforts of home. The property is pristine & the view is breathtaking. It was the perfect place for our family of four to unwind and restore.

Beautiful property

Beautiful property with a long gravel road, set away from other properties and off the grid. What more could you ask for? The upper and lower cabins are beautiful. No problems at all, and the owner was quick with all responses.

Relax and unplug

I loved our stay at the Upper Cabin! The property is impeccably kept, and the dogs and I loved exploring the whole property, Jeff told us a few nice areas to visit on and off of his property and his recommendations were top notch. The cabin itself is rustic but comfortable and has all the basics you need to truly unplug and just relax fully.

Beautiful Home

We had a great time staying at this property. The view was amazing and the property is beautiful and relaxing.It’s a great jumping off point to explore the Olympic National Park. The only downside was there were a few missing amenities like hand soap and baking sheets but we made it work. It is off grid so be prepared for low water flow in the shower and no lights except for lanterns. We’re avid campers so it was not an issue for us. The host was alway available to answer any questions. We would definitely stay again.

The Cabin and Property were amazing and the proximity to the park was perfect. It was about 30-40 minutes to max to every activity we did. The Cabin itself was very clean and we had no need for the wood stove despite it being in the 50s all week as the cabin heats up nicely from the sun during the day and retains the heat at night. I ran into some user error with the generator but Jeff was available immediately to troubleshoot and we got it sorted out over the phone. I brought a back up battery bank (EcoFlow Delta) and a Starlink which gave us plenty of charge for our devices and connection for planning our activities. I would highly suggest this setup as it made the off grid nature of the cabin extremely comfortable and relaxing. Overall the stay was perfect, quiet, and relaxing.

Idyllic stay, but with a mouse in the house!

This was a very comfortable cabin, serene and quiet, with lots of new appliances and furniture. However on the first night heard a.mouse. we had no food out. The second night there was nothing to be had, but he came back. We had some water in the sink and he drowned himself. Hopefully there was only one! Still it wasn't what we had hoped for Otherwise an lovely spot! mouse

The mouse almost certainly entered through an unattended open door. There are no mice living in the cabin. None of the many prior guests have ever reported one, and we are vigilant for any signs, and there have been none. On a rural property best to keep the screen door closed if the door is left open.
