Experience a serene coastal getaway in this charming, shingled cottage on 3.5 secluded acres overlooking Pigeon Hill Bay. The home is perfect for families, nature lovers, and their pets, offering direct access to the Petit Manan National Wildlife Refuge and its hiking trails. Watch the wildlife and lobster boats from the deck, not your neighbors.

The interior features an inviting, open-concept living space with vaulted ceilings, warm wooden walls, and a stunning stone fireplace, creating a cozy atmosphere on cool evenings.

Guest access
Guests will have exclusive and private access to the entire main cottage and the surrounding 3.5-acre property. This includes:
- All rooms within the main house.
- The expansive deck and outdoor furniture.
- The entire 3.5-acre grounds.

Convenient self check-in is available via a smart lock system.

Please note: The garage and any other outbuildings on the property are private and strictly not available for guest use.

This was our second time at this wonderful place. The location is great for Down East adventure and the house itself has a great yard. The house is beautiful. We and our dogs loved it and we will definitely come back again.

The cabin is so beautiful inside and out. It is very clean and well equipped. The hosts were prompt at responding and so very helpful. The cabin felt very private and secluded. We saw deer, turkey's and had an adorable porcupine that visited every evening. We would definitely stay again.

We arrived late and we had a little problem but Jennifer and Peter worked very hard to make everything perfect for our stay! We had an amazing time in Maine the cabin was an excellent home base for us.

This property is an absolute dream. It is well-equipped for all needs, and is in a wonderful location. We were able to explore Acadia for a day, and then spent a day exploring the local wildlife refuge (Hollingsworth Trail is a MUST!) It was private, and my berner and 4 year old had plenty of space in the yard to explore. We saw turkeys, deer every morning, and even a porcupine one evening! Easily the most comfortable, beautiful place I’ve ever stayed when traveling. As a bonus, the hosts are super responsive, and have a very well-done and detailed guide book available in the home for your stay. Highly recommend.

This was such a lovely place to stay with so much to do right nearby. The hosts have literally everything covered in their very helpful guide. The outdoor shower under the stars was amazing. The kids enjoyed the loft. We loved seeing all the wildlife each day. Very peaceful location to rest after busy days visiting Acadia. We would stay here again! Highly recommend Acadia puffin boat tour right down the road, Hollingsworth trail, Birch Point trail and Pigeon Hill trail.

Wonderful cottage in picturesque area. Hosts were attentive & cottage was well furnished. Immediately outside of cottage was an amazing and not so busy National Wildlife Refuge with trails, wildlife and more.

Fabulous property!

The views from the back deck are unsurpassed. The cabin is picturesque with ample space and immaculately kept. The VRBO hosts are quick to respond, helpful and friendly. If you're looking for a place far away from it all and just enjoy nature, this is it!

Awesome place, awesome house.

The house is beautifully decorated and so cozy. There is a national wild life refuge steps away and anyone who stays here should definitely check it out. The owners made sure to check in with us when we arrived but we didn’t need a thing. It was perfect. I only wished we could have stayed longer!

Stunning!

This is a gem in rural Maine. Close enough for a day trip to Acadia and Bar Harbor but secluded enough to enjoy an outdoor fire pit and a glass of wine uninterrupted. Beautiful decor inside and well stocked with supplies. Comfortable beds, big kitchen, plenty of seating and quiet! Great hosts with good communication!

Cozy stay with everything you’d need

We stayed for 4 nights. The cottage had great ambiance and a good fire pit. We ended up staying in more often than we would’ve like due to the remnants of a hurricane, but we had extended family visit and there was plenty of space and was comfortable for everyone. We did visit the wildlife refuge a few times (and even to pick blueberries). I loved all the touches including a lobster pot for some last minute lobster feed.

Long weekend in Acadia

My family of four and our close friends (also a family of four) stayed at this house over a long weekend trip to Acadia. While it is about 50 minutes from Bar Harbor, it's a shorter trip to the Schoodic Pennisula part of the park, and a lovely drive. The owners were very responsive and helpful. The house was very clean and modern. Beds comfortable, large enough table and living room where the 8 of us didn't feel crowded at all. The kids enjoyed sleeping and hanging out in the loft area. The bathroom is large and they had plenty of towels for everyone. The kitchen was well equiped, there were instructions in the manual and posted around the house for things like wifi, coffee maker, etc. Large deck in the back overlooking the water. Would stay here again!
