We strive to provide a comfortable, well-maintained home for all of our guests and take concerns seriously. From the moment of check-in, it felt as though this guest was actively searching for issues rather than simply enjoying the home. The volume of messages was excessive and far beyond what any reasonable host would expect - often multiple complaints per day about minor, inconsequential items. Despite this, we went above and beyond at every turn. For example, when she mentioned that the toaster handle felt warm, we immediately purchased and delivered an entirely brand-new toaster. An ottoman that had been damaged by a prior guest was replaced immediately with a new one just for her stay. When she struggled with the TVs, we provided written step-by-step instructions and met with her in person to walk her through it - and still continued to receive complaints. At every step, we responded quickly, professionally, and far beyond what most hosts would reasonably be expected to do. Unfortunately, no amount of responsiveness or accommodation seemed sufficient. Her expectations were unrealistic for a short-term rental and would likely be better suited to a full-service hotel with 24-hour on-site staff.

Thank you so much for the feedback. Unfortunately the unit next door flooded and it was not discovered right away. We have since updated the condo completely and did a partial refund for your troubles. We do hope you’ll give us another stay in the future.
