Book a peaceful escape at “The Barby Haus” Tucked away in a private country setting, this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom vacation rental home is an ideal place to relax, complete with a bright, airy interior and modern amenities and Wi-Fi. Savor your morning coffee, lazy afternoons and beautiful sunsets on the deck where you may even get a chance to see wildlife. Within walking distance of the famous Kenney Store where you can catch live music Thursday through Saturday.

Was a great find close to the wedding venue. Very clean, super easy check in, lots of little extras to make the stay nice…would definitely stay again!

Only spent one night here while in town for a wedding in Chappell Hill and found the home to be very clean, home temperature was easily controlled and comfortable, plenty of pillows and blankets, towels, beds were comfortable, and the decorating was on point. Communication was excellent with the host, responded to messages very quickly and offered to help if we needed anything. Only downside was the house is located very close to the train tracks and the train went through frequently, not so great, especially if you are one who cannot easily go back to sleep once awakened.

The Barby Haus was super cute and so clean. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the coffee bar was a treat! It was such a cozy spot to return to after a day of shopping at Round Top. The house was an added perk to our trip to Warrenton each day. Only took us about 20 minutes to get to shopping!

Property very clean and well maintained. Great location related to Kenney Store. Bed and linens very comfortable, the sheets were so soft! The train does pass by throughout the night and the tables and counters stay decorated, but we would stay there again.

The home is freshly updated, clean and upbeat. It is nestled in a small town. We trekked over to Brenham for dinner at Brossa's. Excellent wines and handmade pasta noodles. Incredible. Had a great stay. Very lovely host too.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained, with so many thoughtful details that made us feel right at home. You can tell the owner truly cares about the guests’ experience.The host was extremely kind and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed, the house is comfortable, and perfectly equipped.Highly recommend it! We would definitely stay here again.

The train tracks being so close is very unfortunate. Not something you might expect to be included in the listing as I'm sure it would immediately be a negative for many potential visitors, but it was an unhappy surprise. The house is lovely, but there are too many knick-knacks on the counters and furniture for my taste. I would have liked having more space to work in the kitchen and put my things in the master bedroom. Otherwise, all of the amenities were very nice. No dishwasher, so keep that in mind if you don't like washing dishes and you plan to cook meals.

Amazing Stay!!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Loved the comfortable bed. Kitchen was perfect! Communication was excellent, and the owner was very responsive and helpful throughout my stay. I especially appreciated the cute bottle waters and the local recommendations. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting.
