Palacio offers guests the option to work out in the Fitness Center, play Tennis on two of the secured Tennis Courts, relax in the Outdoor Pool, Swim Laps in the Seasonally Heated Lap Pool, Grill Burgers on one of the Poolside Charcoal Grills, or unwind in the Outdoor Hot Tub. You can even rent the Social Room with Stunning Floor to Ceiling views of the Gulf and pool area for your private event! Enjoy the use of Free WiFi in your Condo, Lobby or Social Room and DVD Rentals. Perdido Key is the perfect quiet and family-friendly beach town. It offers wildlife viewing at the beautiful Johnson Beach National Seashore state park, as well as multiple hiking trails and historic landmarks. There are so many adventures to choose from such as fishing charters to take you to the best spots only locals know about, and don't forget to try one of the Dolphin cruises to experience the open water in a way you will most certainly never forget. This property is in a good location but the unit needs maintenance and repairs and updates. The bunk beds were broken, the dryer didn’t work and the furniture is stained and old. We will stay in this location again but not this unit.

This is a great place. Large enough that everyone in not on top of one another. Rooms were larger that expected. Great space on the end. Great beach views on one end and bay views on the other. Everything that you need for a home away from home beach get away. We really enjoyed it!!

The condo is gorgeous and spacious. We really enjoyed the balcony and ease of getting to the pool and beach. The only complaint we had is that the cable/internet connection and televisions never worked. Really poor service and we were not able to watch even basic cable. The TV in the primary bedroom did not work at all. We were left a number for the cable company but were not able to connect because the service is not in our name.

Nice and clean condo

Condo was great for our family. Was very clean upon arrival. We had a few low impact maintenance items, some of which were fixed quickly, but one wasn’t ever resolved (balcony light). Pool deck and beach were very nice. Walkway to beach was under construction for over a week while we were there which was unfortunate.

We had a great stay at 1001 Palacio! the view was wonderful. The condo, pool and facilities were clean and safe! I would have liked to see things like coffee filters and salt and pepper - basics I normally find in condo rentals - but Publix delivery was quick and easy. All in all - a great choice!

Great Condo!

This condo suffered a lot of damage from Hurricane Sally. When repairing the damage, the owners upgraded many things and it is really nice! We wanted to rent it again for next year but someone had already reserved it for February! Darn!!!

Rating is more like 4.5. Very clean and equipped (especially the kitchen). Had 1 stopped up toilet but maintenance crew got right on it. We rented 5 condos for our family as we did here last year. We were surprised check in was at 4 but no one at desk at 5? Not happy w/ that.

This condo was absolutely beautiful. It had the best view, my family loved it. It was enough space for a family of 4 adults and 3 children. The beach and pool were accessible, walking distance which was nice. The only issue that we experienced is the smoke detector alarm going off from time to time. But the customer service experience was great, the staff was concerned and I even received a call back after checkout. I believe that this will not be an issue for the next family. Again the staff was amazing. If you are looking for a place of relaxation and away from the hustle and bustle this is the place to be. Thanks!

We loved our unit!! Decorated beautifully and well-appointed with gorgeous water views !

We loathed the beach lounge / chair rental survival of the fittest! The first come first serve situation is a nightmare- who wants to set their alarm for 6:30am on vacation!? My mom and dad even payed to rent one and were out of luck on the last day of our stay. This system needs an overhaul! We've vacationed in perdido key for almost 40 years and have always had a reserved lounger for the duration of our stay. The overflow parking lot leaves a lot to be desired as well. We loved the condo, but won't be back b/c of these two quirks.

Left lift with property managers. Really, one roll of toilet paper per bathroom - you should have sent me a list of all that was not provided. Instructions left on counter are not correct and need to be updated, another lack of attention to detail. Unit sofa and chairs area bit worn and tired. View is Amazing! Great condo!

The condo was great! Clean, nicely decorated, large, updated throughout, and the views of the ocean were incredible! We had a very nice stay! We loved the pools, we also really appreciated that 2 chairs and an umbrella were set up each day by the ocean for us to use included with the room. We felt that was a big advantage of this condo since none of the other condos in the area had such an attentive beach chair service. The only thing negative I would say is the bunk bed didn’t seem stable. It was as very shaky. I think it should be replaced. Since we needed both beds in that room to accommodate our family we didn’t let our child sleep on the top bunk we pulled out the trundle and had him sleep on that(luckily there ended up being a trundle). It needed up working out okay but it made the room crowded and our son was disappointed because he wanted to sleep on the top bunk.

LICE!!!!

Everything about this condo was great until it wasn’t. It was the last day of our week long stay when we noticed ALLL OF OUR 6 kids had lice. Now I tried to be kind about it and reach out to the manager who did not seem to care at all. Now in a condo like this I feel like things can happen. I get that. Originally all I had asked for was the 130 in a credit for the cost of treating everyone for lice to make sure we didn’t bring it back home with us. I was not responded to for a while. When I finally was responded to they wanted me to sign a NDA to not speak about how their unit gave everyone lice in order to get my 130 in a credit. . I declined feeling like it was a little schemey and considering they didn’t seem to care or want to do anything initially I was worried that they would just not treat the furniture and let the next person get it and repeat the process. So this is me warning everyone. I would not rent this VRBO because you and all your kids might end up with lice in the end. And nothing will be done about it.

The condo was great!

Plenty of spacious room for 6 adults and 3 little ones. Pool was nice. BUT the beach
the beach chairs took up every inch on the property from side to side, all the way to the water, 4 rows deep! And only half were being used! When you have little ones you have to be close to watch them! We, along with many others, had to go beyond the Palacio property to set up! Yes, you’re given 2 chairs, but when you have a family vacation and have to seperate, it’s ridiculous! None of the other condos was like this! ALSO. The fire alarm went off at 1am! Everyone exited but No security, or staff on property to tell us anything!! Everyone was just standing around outside not knowing what to do. No emergency vehicles! Finally about 30 min later a fire truck showed up! Thankfully there wasn’t a real fire! We won’t be back.

Great room

The room itself was nice. Very spacious and clean. As advertised. The only bad thing was that the dryer barely worked. It took 3 times through the drying cycle to dry clothes and towels. While the room was nice, the condo property itself look very run down.
