Ski Getaway

This was a great place to stay for our ski trip. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep, dry our gear at the end of the day, cook dinner, and relax by the fireplace. I would stay here again the next time I'm in Silverton.

Amazing stay

Everything about this property was perfect. It was beautiful, just as described, cozy, well stocked, and amazingly located. We were a group of 11 and had no problems at all. The host could not have been lovelier from start to finish.

Awesome House

Everything was perfect at this house. The layout and the space is great. The host is super! I recommend staying here if you have a large group going to Silverton.

Perfect for a winter ski trip!

We loved our winter stay in Silverton. This home worked perfect for our group of skiers. It’s only 15 min from Silverton mountain. And when we were ready to go into town for food and drinks it was a real quick drive or a doable winter walk. We enjoyed hanging in the wood paneled loft area talking about all our great stories from the day on the mountain! The gas fireplace was a nice touch too. Hope to come back for future ski trips!

Beautiful Setting & Charming House

We had a wonderful getaway at Janice’s property. The house is set back next to the creek and the open space surrounding it is gorgeous. It made for a very relaxing and fun long weekend. We loved Silverton and that the house was a short walk to the Main Street where we enjoyed some delicious meals. We also enjoyed hiking, fishing, tubing in Durango and doing the mountain activities in Purgatory. The house is charming, rustic and spacious. We love that Janice allows dogs too as we brought our two dogs with us. Janice was super friendly, communicative and easy to get a hold of. The check in process was very easy. We will definitely stay here again if it is available.

What a lovely house!

It was a fantastic experience renting this house. It's big, with three bedrooms with queen beds and a loft with four twin beds. An older house that is really charming, well maintained, and clean. Host provides plenty of linens and bathroom items and stocks the kitchen very well. The property is within walking distance of downtown Silverton and by a beautiful creek. The deck is an awesome place to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Finally, the host is very responsive. She went above and beyond - shipping back an item that we left behind. Would rent this place again without a doubt in mind.
