Enjoy 10 peaceful acres in the Manistee National Forest with recently added HOT TUB. This one-of-a-kind Bluebird School Bus has been fully converted into a beautiful hideout. Allow the outdoor shower to melt away those city blues. This location makes for a great home base to explore all that the Manistee National Forest has to offer. RV hook ups available, tent friendly, ORV friendly, and pet friendly. The perfect couples get away or ORV hideout for you and your close friends. *NOTE: This property is in a secluded area.
Please note that you will be sent our rental agreement once you book your stay.
Please note there is a max of 2 dogs allowed with a pet fee per dog. Only dogs allowed, no other pets of any kind.

Just so other guests know, the bus has electricity, running water, air conditioning, heat, an indoor toilet and bathtub, kitchen sink with running water, microwave, hot plate for cooking as well as an outdoor shower with running water and propane gas grill. Incredibly relaxing

We spent our days here hiking and cooking over the fire, it is a perfect base camp if you need need more than a tent. Well equipped and very cozy!

July 4th getaway

Wanted a quick holiday getaway the bus was just right. It was clean, private and close to what we like to do. Near Mt biking, Baldwin ice cream and Ludington fireworks. We would rent again in the future

Outdoor shower!

We loved the isolated outdoor shower, Our stay was very peaceful with the bus fully stocked, clean and a very kind owner whom communicated with me to make sure we didn’t need anything during our stay! 10/10 will be booking again!

So Amazing!

My husband and I stayed here for an anniversary get away for three nights and didn’t want to leave! The bus was super cute and clean inside! And had everything we needed! I was thankful for the step stool to get on the bed and for the fan! It was very peaceful and we would stay here again!

Unique Stay in the Forest

Nice place to get away from city life, directly in the middle of the forest. Listing and photos are accurate. Nice property manager. I think the place is best suited for couples or for staying with a friend. Overall had a great time and definitely made for a unique experience!

Magic School Bus

The bus was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The 2 track to get back to it was rough, I wouldn't try to take a car back there. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely rent it again. Mike was quick to respond and very accommodating..

From the reviews it looked like it would be a cute little place for a quick weekend away. Once we arrived we had to clean the firepit out of cardboard and other stuff. The back of the bus where the bed is does not lock so security is not a guarantee. The outdoor shower and indoor shower were both freezing cold, no hot water. The final straw though was the spiders once you go to bed. We killed at least 12 and got maybe 3 hours of sleep. We stayed one night and found other accommodations in the morning.
