Newly remodeled mountain loft is tucked away in a quiet woodsy setting, with sleeping for 4. The loft has a spacious deck with high top table and chairs for taking in the beautiful mountain views. Rustic interior has full kitchen with bar seating and table and chairs for 4. The kitchen has stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, air fryer, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, toaster. Utensils, pots and plans along with basic seasonings and spices are provided. Soap and dishwasher detergent provided.

The bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed. Bed linens are provided and beds will be made. Two futons in the living area, one full size, one queen size, offer additional sleeping areas.

The full bathroom is accessed via the bedroom and has shower/tub combo. Towels and a hair dryer are provided.

The lower level has rec room and laundry areas. The rec area has a TV, ping pong table, a second refrigerator and table/chairs for 4. The laundry has washer/dryer/sink. Laundry soap and such are provided.

Nearby area attractions include bike riding on the Va Creeper Trail, hiking the Appalachian Trail, boating and fishing on Watauga Lake, Off-Roading at Doe Mountain Recreation area. Additional hiking at Mount Rogers and Grayson Highlands.

The property is located about 10mins drive from downtown Mountain City, TN and about 20mins drive to Damascus, VA. Boone and Blowing Rock, NC and Bristol, VA are accessible as well.

Parking for 4 vehicles. Additional parking for trailers available if requested.

Perfect hideway

While the initial trek up the driveway in the dark was daunting, everything about our stay was great. The cabin is comfortable, spacious, and has all the basics. I'd definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful cabin. The view of the surrounding mountains was picturesque. The raised deck was a perfect place for all of us to hang out and take in everything The cabin was in excellent shape and exceptional clean. Kitchen was nicely stocked with lots of essentials.I will stay here again when i come back

Excellent stay!

My husband and I really appreciated how quiet and cozy the Loft is. The hosts are local which is always nice and they keep their property very clean. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The view is outstanding and honestly would be great for family or bridal photos. You can also see so many different animals on the drive in. It was a wonderful mountain visit.

A Quiet Getaway

The Loft is indeed cozy, quiet, and a bit off the beaten path. The view is pretty, and it is a relief to step out of the car and not hear ambient traffic noise. I hope to return again.

The property is clean and very well equipped. The extra directions Jeff provided were very helpful in getting to the property, especially as we arrived after dark. The views are incredible and the peaceful setting is perfect for a chance to unwind is perfect for a getaway

Very vice cozy spot. Very clean and and seemed to be fairly new. Awesome view up on a hill. Driveway was steep but it is paved and was not slippery when wet. Will return in future if i am needing to be in the area!

To say this property was quiet and peaceful is an understatement. We throughly enjoyed our visit. The host is so kind and responsive. The place was so clean and beautiful. The cabin had everything we needed to make our stay memorable. My husband loved the brown chair in the living room. He said,”this is a man’s chair” He definitely took a few naps in it during our trip. Thank you for a pleasant and relaxing vacation.

Great place. Great view. Great communication and guests on the first evening.....a Mama bear and her 2 cubs.Too bad we weren't ready with our cameras when they strolled across the yard. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful home. For future guests, the instructions say not to leave food in your car. That's a good rule and I'm glad our car was already unloaded.
