Mrs. Bernie was such a kind and communicable host! The property was well stocked and the view was breathtaking We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the home. We enjoyed the Vermont puzzle and the kids enjoyed the pool table. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Bernie for sharing your home!

Bernie's house is the best Vrbo we've ever stayed in. Sometimes you get to a place and find out that the photos were shot at deceptive angles to hide how far it is to the water or how close it is to the neighbors but not in Bernie's case. If anything, the photos don't do this place justice. The yard is massive and private, the lake is right there, the views from the deck are gorgeous. Inside the house, it feels like a classic rustic cabin but is cleaner than a hotel and full of modern amenities. The beds are tightly made with fresh white linens. The fireplace is easy and accessible and the couches are a comfortable place to relax after a long day of kayaking on the lake or hiking the nearby trails. We had a great weekend and can't wait to go back.

Very clean, comfortable beds, kitchen had all we needed to cook meals, very large deck overlooking peaceful lake, great for taking kayaks and canoe out. Paddling to the sugar house for maple creamees is a must. This was a well cared for property with lovely gardens. Lots of amenities to please everyone in the group!

We simply had a wonderful time! The house was super comfortable and easy to cook meals in. The extra large deck is fantastic for hanging out when you aren't enjoying the lake below. The lake is really something special - quiet yet playful. It is so nice to have all the "toys" (e.g., kayaks, SUP, tubes). Ludlow is a great little town. We loved the farmer's market on Sunday and with the supermarket so close we didn't have to plan a week's meals ahead of time - quick trips to store were easy. Host and manager were very responsive. Highly recommend!

Great Okemo ski weekend

Cozy and comfortable place, very convenient to Okemo. Had everything we needed, including well stocked kitchen when cooking for a group. Absolutely wonderful owner/host was welcoming and responsive.

House is beautiful, super clean, even landscaping was lovely! Large deck with peaceful view perfect for meals, family games, reading and morning yoga. Enjoyed kayaks and paddle board on Lake Pauline! Enjoyed local restaurants notably Mojo and Big Pops and The Hatchery.

Great Spot!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was cozy, well-appointed, and a good central location for visiting Manchester and Woodstock. We also enjoyed some of the local businesses in Ludlow. Would definitely go back!

We had a great time- house is beautiful and very spacious and set up well for 2 families. Exactly as advertised on VRBO- beautiful setting on the lake and only 5 minutes from Jackson Gore side of Okemo.

House is perfectly stocked and very comfortable. Whether you are in VT to ski or sit by the fire with friends and family, you can’t go wrong with this home.
