Renovated Private Beach Villa w/Pool, Ocean Views, Walk to French Leave Beach

Thank you Jeremy, It was my pleasure! Look forward to seeing you all again soon😊

Thank you for your honest feedback. I am sorry for the issues you experienced during your stay. As I mentioned in our personal emails to each other, I have discussed them with the property manager and we are addressing each and every one of them. I sincerely hope that you enjoyed your visit to Eleuthera and had a wonderful vacation. We appreciate you choosing Driftwood and again, appreciate your feedback. It's important that our guests tell us not only what they love about the property, but also where our areas of opportunity are.

We are delighted you enjoyed your stay at Driftwood. Driftwood has town water, as well as a cistern for back up. Eleuthera does not have water-borne diseases like Mexico, so the water is typically potable, but most visitors drink bottled water anyway, just to feel secure.

Break-ins are very rare on Eleuthera, but they do happen occasionally. There is no evidence whatsoever that the property manager's son was involved with the break-in, and we don't believe he was involved. The property manager and her son manage a dozen properties on the island and have been doing so for years. None of the others have experienced break-ins. This guest has insisted that the truth of her accusations were "revealed" to her in some supernatural way, but we have to stick with the actual facts on the ground, and those facts in no way implicate the property manager's son. UPDATE to Driftwood review: Our property manager, Misty, has been working with a fellow property manager in relation to the allegations at Driftwood and a report of a separate incident at a different property not affiliated with Driftwood. Security footage obtained from that property resulted in the apprehension of 2 individuals believed to be responsible for both break-ins. It is unfortunate that Misty’s son was falsely accused of the crime and that his character was publicly called into question. As noted in our initial response to the review, crime is not common on the island; however, it is an unfortunate reality, as it can be anywhere in the world. We want to personally thank Misty, the other property manager and the Governor’s Harbour Police for working together on this matter in helping both residents and guests alike, safely enjoy the magic of Eleuthera.

We are glad that you enjoyed the house, but very sorry about the issues. Immediate action has been taken to resolve the hot water and electrical issues. As you know, Eleuthera is famously safe; however, there are some instances of petty theft. We are sorry you experienced this during your stay. We hope that it did not tarnish the rest of your stay. Thank you for your feedback.
