Welcome to a peaceful getaway in the country with fast internet, Smart TVs, and all the conveniences you'll need for remote work or family fun! The house is set up to be pet-friendly and we welcome tidy, trained dogs. Enjoy large, comfy rooms, patio with a fire pit, Adirondack chairs, and a new grill. The beautiful backyard has views of rolling farmland and a romantic 3-seat swing under the huge maple tree. The house has a fully stocked kitchen for cooking including cookware and basic spices and oils. Located along OH-179 only 2 miles from SR 30 for convenient access to Ashland, Mansfield, Wooster, and Mohican and only minutes from Ashland University, Mohican State Park, Charles Mill Lake & Pleasant Hill Lake.

A great stay

It was in a great location just minutes from Ashland and when you walk in you fell at home the host put out some water and snacks and overall a great stay when we return next year I'm going to try to book the same house

I love the design and set up of the house. Everything you could possibly need was there, except wood for the bonfire. That was very easy to get to and purchase in town. The house was close to town and the town is very cute!!

My wife and I and a couple friends stayed here for the weekend for “Party at the Pen” chopper show at the Shawshank prison. The house was nice clean and comfortable, check in couldn’t have been easier, and the location was great. Far enough from Mansfield for a nice enjoyable ride through the country, but not too far to make it a hassle, would definitely stay here again

Wonderful house with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We had a slight hiccup with check in but the host was very responsive and solved our issue. I would definitely stay again and would recommend this property and host.

Perfect Home to Celebrate the Holidays

My Mom and sisters celebrated our Christmas in this beautiful home. We baked our favorite orange cookies and reminisced about Christmases past. We had plenty of room and everything we needed to make our time together extra special. The location was perfect to visit Kingwood Center's Christmas lights. Thank you for a comfortable stay - a warm home to make memories that we will cherish forever!

Beautiful home

My sister and her family along with my fiancé and I were looking for something close to Mohican where we could bring our dogs. This house was nicer than expected. We had a great time enjoying the back patio and swing while the dogs played in the yard. The house was clean and the beds were comfy. Mohican was about 20 minutes away for us to enjoy the river and hiking. Would definitely stay here again.

Truly Excellent Place to Stay

This place is beautifully decorated and absolutely sparkling clean! It is one of the nicest places I have stayed. The rooms were spacious, and the beds very comfortable. We had 6 adults in our group. We were here for 2 days,and we found everything we needed in the kitchen to make our morning coffee and our dinner one evening. The owner, Mr. Hostetler, is very responsive and personable. When I sent him a vrbo message with a question about check-in, I got an almost instant answer.This house is out in the country, so it is a very peaceful and relaxing setting, and we even saw some deer across the field in the evenings! I highly recommend it as a great place to stay!

Clean and Spacious Home, with a quaint location!

The house was clean and well-decorated, with everything you could need and then some. The waters on the beds and snacks in the kitchen were great added touches! What we enjoyed the most was the large, open concept kitchen, and the beautiful patio out back. We went at the beginning of November and enjoyed views of the cornfield and beautiful colors of the sunset in the distance. The location was also very easily accessible and gave us the opportunity to try a few local businesses in Haysville like Brew’d Coffee which had amazing speciality donuts and drinks, and Farmhouse Parlor & Grill, which is a cute pizza place and ice cream parlor with many menu options. We hope to make this family trip an annual thing (we traveled to the area to meet with family from Wooster) and would look forward to staying at the same house next year!
