Joseph is a great communicator and accommodating with our request. This apartment is very comfortable and well equipped. It is very convenient to West Point and several shops and restaurants in Highland Falls.

Perfectly Located

Had a mini reunion with a friend from elementary school days - Tarrytown turned out to be the midway point for both of us. This property was PERFECT for our reunion. While the apartment as a whole is clean, nicely decorated and has it all - I fell in love with the shower and having a/c in each bedroom. I haven’t slept so well in ages!! Couldn’t be happier with our stay.

Ideal location for Highland Falls

Great little apartment with perfect location to Main Gate. Very clean. Overall an excellent stay.Does have a few quirks we noticed: There is a tub but no tub spout or drain, so if you want a good soak after a busy day, you have to use the handheld and get creative of how to plug the drain. There is a neighbor who plays some sort of music ALL NIGHT LONG and you can hear a very low bass sound. Not enough to keep you up but annoying enough to fall asleep to and wake up the next morning too.Says sleep 6 but only provides utensils for 3-4. We didn’t have 6 so didn’t affect us but did notice that. One of the bedrooms has a very hard bed! The other has a soft memory foam. Again
 just little things but nothing that would stop us from returning. Felt very safe and the owner was very responsive.

Mixed results

Positives: Great location. Beds and furniture were nice. Clean. Appreciated having youtube tv. Host responded to messages quickly.Needs work: Accurate communication would have saved some problems. Follow up communication when heat unit wasn't working properly would have been appreciated. Provides portable heat units but for the pricing, I expected working thermostat and heat; heat throughout the unit. There is no ventillation or heat in the bathroom. We used portable heater in there. If you know that in advance, you might not care.Also, while the host responded within 5 hours after we called to report the shower drain was completely blocked, I feel this issue should have been recognized earlier. The complete blockage didn't happen overnight. The clog that was removed had been building up over time and was probably slow for some time. After a challenging check-in experience, to wake up to no shower was disheartening.Host did work with us on most things, but overall would not have expected any of this from a super host. Maybe too many things happening that weekend with multiple properties. Very nice person. Works hard. Lots going on that weekend for him.

Perfect football weekend

We stayed for some hiking and some Army football and the property could not have been more perfect. It’s a two minute walk to the West Point gate (as advertised). Whole heartedly recommend and will definitely check for availability next season when we book a game.
