Historic Shilliday House is wrapped in the heart of the friendly hidden gem Lake Ann village. The group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located & amazing place. Live music & drinks at Lake Ann Brewing, Stone Oven Restaurant, Corner Cone ice cream, Grocery Store & Cafe all next door! Lakefront park with a small beach is just a couple minute walk, the boat launch 2 miles, Traverse City, fantastic wineries and the sleeping bear dunes, and other sites close by! This is my second year hosting but my first year on VRBO! Last year, I was a Superhost with 4.8 rating on the other rental platform.

we enjoyed the location and the space was great accommodated all 11 of us. the town of lake ann was great and everything was within easy walking distance. enjoyed the music at night from the brewery

Great time Up North

Everything was a breeze with our week at this house. Location was great for store, ice cream and dining. Centrally located to many of the Up North activities.

The house worked well for our family reunion; five bedrooms and a wonderful wraparound porch in Lake Ann. It was clean and well-appointed. The location also worked well: Lake Ann is a great little town with a beerpub, ice cream shop, grocery, coffee shop, and restaurant. It's also close to Sleeping Bear Dunes. We really enjoyed our stay at Shilladay House.

Great spot for vacation with friends or family!

Location was great. Less than a 5 min walk to lively brewery, pizza, ice cream, coffee and grocery store. Grocery store has everything you could ever need. We had fun walking around the corner to The Bread Lady for best cinn rolls ever! The cabin was great and so was the host with accommodations

Lake Ann

Enjoyed our stay at Lake Ann! The Shilliday House is located in the heart of this cute, small lake town. Walk right across the street to everything you need, or just down the street. Even have lake access down the street. The coffee shop, grocery, ice cream shop, brewery, and Stone Oven are great spots! Absolutely loved the accessibility and atmosphere. House was great for our group, use of garage was nice, fire pit area seated everyone. Porch was the hangout for us. The record player was a hit for our family. Chris was super helpful and knew the area well. Quick drive to dunes, Long Lake, or Traverse.

Lake Ann is a true gem. It is a beautiful and cozy town with laid back vibes and a burst of positivity from the locals. The brewery, coffee shop, ice cream shop, restaurant and grocery store all give you the freedom to be out of the bustle of Traverse City if your goal is a relaxing getaway. If you are looking for more adventures, luckily for you, Lake Ann is great proximity to TC, wineries, the sleeping bear dunes and many must see parks and lakes.

I meticulously decorated this home to highlight nostalgia and when life was simpler. My hope is for your stay to take you out of 2026 and back to a slower time where you have the ability to relax and enjoy making memories with great company.
