Charming and clean little cabin in an absolutely breathtaking setting. Very quiet but still within a quick drive of most amenities. Instructions were easy to follow for checking in and out.

My stay at the cottage was great. The cottage was very clean, the kitchen well stocked and the bed was very comfortable. There was also plenty of wood for the stove and the overall experience was really amazing. The fact that we had perfect fall weather helped but the property is beautiful. We absolutely love this place. It's our second time back, and just as wonderful and memorable as the first. The cabin is just perfect--love the kitchen, the porch, and the wood stove. It's such an idyllic spot and is a peaceful getaway. We love it and will certainly be back for a third visit! Thank you, John!

We had the best time at The Clearing! The locatiion was so beautiful and our stay was the perfect retreat tucked away in Western Mass. We enjoyed swimming in the pool, reading in the sun room, and exploring the surrounding area. Will definitely be back if in the area again!

It was a perfect month long stay and yet we didn’t want to leave. The cottage was spacious, well appointed and charming. The pool delicious. The morning walk down the long beautiful driveway will be missed. John and Joyce were gracious hosts. We have already booked time next year.

We were very comfortable in this cozy house. Lots of room to sit and eat, and a nice bathroom and soaking tub/shower. It was rainy so we enjoyed the seeing the views from inside with steaming cups of tea. We found everything we needed in the kitchen for making breakfast before heading out to see family in the area each day. So quiet except for birdsong! A lovely stay.

Hosts were kind, helpful, and communicative. The pictures do not do this property justice - We were out there with the birds, the snow, and the wind. It was a rejuvenating and beautiful stay, can't wait to come back.
