Need to get away from the hustle and bustle? Our well maintained farmhouse is the perfect place for those looking for an escape in the hill towns of the Pioneer Valley. Come enjoy all the beautiful colors of fall as the leaves change across Western Mass. Our farmhouse is a quick half hour drive to all the great city of Northampton has to offer. It is fully furnished and boasts many original farmhouse details. There are 3 tastefully appointed bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms with hardwood floors throughout and a fireplace in the living room. This home offers amazing views in every direction and a truly serene setting. The grounds are surrounded by beautiful stone walls, fruit trees, farm fields and state forest. Perfect location, totally private.

We enjoyed a wonderful family reunion at this home and property…. The home was very comfortable and well away from work and hectic city life. The only sounds outside of the home were those of birds and wildlife. The surrounding landscape was beautiful! Perfect getaway!!

Great place in the woods!

This is a great, comfortable house out in the woods. Its on a dirt road and very private. The beds were great and the kitchen is well equipped. We really enjoyed the visit!

Great place to relax

The house was perfect for our needs. A winter snow storm brought even more beauty to the outside view. Looking forward to returning on another trip to visit our son and his family.

The property was beautiful, on gorgeous farmland, and a wonderful farmhouse. The bedrooms were nice, well furnished, and comfortable. The downstairs was comfy, stocked with movies and games, and the grill outside was perfect and easy to use. However, the house was not very clean once we checked in. There were moldy dishes in the dishwasher, lots of dust and cobwebs everywhere, and a massive wasp nest on the side of the house. The owner and their family were very quick to help deal with it and were extremely friendly.

Perfect getaway

We needed a place for a post Christmas celebration and the farmhouse was perfect! We took a crock pot and food enough for four days and just enjoyed the company of family. We also enjoyed the wildlife strolling along the property and a nice hike to a falls nearby. If you want peace, quiet, relaxation and beautiful sunrises and sunsets this is the place!

It worked for us

It was a good place for our family of 4 adults to spend Christmas. It was nice to get away to a quiet and remote area. We cooked, played games and took walks. We enjoyed watching the turkeys roam around in the snow too! We would stay again though the housekeeping could use a little TLC.💕

Western mass Farmhouse

It was just the space we needed to attend a family wedding nearby. Common area, bathroom and bedrooms were clean but it could have been cleaner and use some updates (food remnants in some of the drawers, dust and dead bugs under furniture; a few broken screens and shades) nothing a deep cleaning and upgrades can’t fix. Owner was responsive and accommodating.

Quiet retreat

Very remote, quiet, roomy. Nothing nearby for convenience items, none really available such as soap and shampoo, welcome snacks. Coffee was available. Lots of bugs in corners of rooms on ceiling, but it is a farmhouse.

Old-fashioned tranquility

The setting is gorgeous, out of the way, peaceful and secluded. The farmhouse is reminiscent of an old-fashioned country living. The 3 bedrooms are generous in size and filled with light. There are 2 living areas that are fine but a decorative touch could make them even better. A wonderful time was had by all and our host, Keith could not have been more gracious and responsive to our questions.

Hello! We had a great stay. Few things that were disappointing. One the cleanliness of the property. Looks like the property had not been cleaned, lots of spider webs/spiders, wasp next, dust etc. I didn’t see a pond next to the house which was a little deceiving. Overall please make sure property is clean!

Magical Old Farmhouse

My family and I are from NYC and we were looking to find a special house in Western Mass for several days that was as far away from the commotion of the City as we could find. This gorgeous, old farmhouse was it! Secluded with inspiring views of mountains, farmland and forests, this house gave us the rest and recharge we needed. It’s a throwback to a simpler time with lots of interesting rooms and plenty of space. Hosts made everything easy! (Note that GPS will want you to take “Fritz Rd” — but most of that road was discontinued.) Hope to be back next summer!

Wedding Bliss

The property was just what we needed for a family wedding in the area. The location was 20-35 mini from the places we had to travel too. Only issue we had was in getting there. Our google maps took us to a dead end lane way on arriving. We reversed out and it recalculated us to the correct route. Once we had that figured out we had no issues. The house was quaint and very secluded which allowed us to have a great afternoon nap after driving for ten hours. The bedrooms were large and each had window air conditioners and the beds were very comfy. The kitchen was equipped with a the gear we needed and a much need coffeemaker! Overall the home was clean and tidy but my granddaughter who crawls found some dead crickets in the floor, which she kindly shared with me. Nothing to be concerned about, just a lovely farmhouse surrounded by trees and meadows. Saw deers early Sunday morning in the front yard and several bunnies which my granddaughter loved. Keith was very responsive to my questions. Great weekend all around
