We loved it. Our week there was wonderful. Loved the pool. Going to sleep in the living room and being able to see the lighthouse. Beautiful

Location is the best part of the rental. Cynthia the property manager was great. She helped us out with a few things. The property is dated, the furniture is old. There is a sign to take your shoes off but when you do your feet turn black from the dirty carpet. The no AC was horrible the weekend we were there it was 80-85 deg. Would not go back unless the weather was better. The parking was small. They list no vehicles over 16ft but most did not do that which made the parking harder.

Nice Place - Excellent Location!

The location could not be better - literally steps from both the beach and harbor. The price was great. Nothing fancy, but comfortable for our party of two adults and three kids. Cindy was very accommodating at check-in. Would stay there again.

We had an AMAZING time as usual! We had a couple of mishaps, but the property manager Cindy, handled them with such ease and professionalism that we didn't even notice a problem!

old, tired and in poor shape

Marina del Mar is a beautiful location. You are steps from the beach and the pool is heated and in good shape. Unfortunately the unit we rented was really tired. The carpet was so dirty our feet turned black if we didn't have on shoes. The vanity in the master bath was broken. The sliding glass door was not sliding. There was more but we did not dwell on the negatives since the location is A+. The unit was a C- and management was difficult.

Perfect 2 bedroom condo on Marina & Beach!

Perfect 4 day getaway. Unit faces the harbor for beautiful mornings on the terrace. Unit is across the street from Oceanside beach! Heated pool and large jacuzzi for after the beach! Lots of restaurants in harbor. Perfect trip!

Location

If it wasn’t for the location of this property I’d give it one star. The location is ideal right by the beach. The size of the rooms were great and balcony overlooking the harbor was great. The condo itself was really dirty. We found dental floss on the carpet as well as a tooth flossy. The carpet was kind of sticky and all the faucets were rusty and moldy showers. A cabinet door in the kitchen as well as the bathroom were falling off their hinges. The pantry door doesn’t open all the way, it hits the ceiling light. There are the bare minimum utensils and pans in the kitchen. No spices or cooking spray. Only one Tupperware bowl with lid. And then just a bunch of lids. We found food left in the refrigerator. The hall bathroom door doesn’t close unless you lift it and shoulder push it. The couch was horribly uncomfortable too. You can hear every footstep the people above make. The twin beds are stained and very uncomfortable. The king bed was better. Beach location was amazing and we loved that part. We have stayed at other VRBO’s and loved them. We would love to come back and try out a different condo but would never stay in this condo again. We aren’t really picky people and usually are fine with little things here and there. This was beyond our comfort level of gross.

Ocean Side Visit

The property was your typical beach side condos. The structure its self was well maintained and I have no complaints there. The house was extremely out dated and washed up. It's in desperate need of some updates. The images compared to the wear and tear of the place had to have been taken 10 years ago or some extreme editing. It was disappointing to stay the least but we went and purchased some things from Walmart to help make our stay more comfortable and we made it. The kitchen also wasn't very equipped- cheap and minimal pots and pans. Anything you made stuck and there just wasn't much options there either.
