Little Peak Chalet par Whiteface Mountain & Ausable River

NichĂ© sur la colline boisĂ©e de Juniper Hill Ă  Wilmington, votre expĂ©rience de la nature ultime vous attend, que ce soit le ski, la pĂȘche, la randonnĂ©e, le vĂ©lo, le kayak ou les grillades au feu de camp.

À quelques minutes de Whiteface Mountain avec la plus grande baisse verticale du nord-est. Rendez-vous au sommet sur la «tĂ©lĂ©cabine Cloudsplitter» toute l'annĂ©e, ou, prenez la route Ă  couper le souffle de 8 miles sur la Memorial Highway ..... cela vous coupera vraiment le souffle! Sur le chemin, vous pouvez vous arrĂȘter pour visiter le PĂšre NoĂ«l et ses rennes au pĂŽle Nord, la maison de l'atelier du PĂšre NoĂ«l.

Dans un mile est la branche ouest de la riviĂšre AuSable et fabuleux pĂȘche Ă  la truite, kayak et canoĂ«. Des kilomĂštres de sentiers de randonnĂ©e, de vĂ©lo et de ski de fond sont Ă  portĂ©e de main. Faites un plongeon sur les rochers au Flume, ou prĂ©parez un pique-nique et retournez dans une zone de baignade isolĂ©e. Lake Placid et l'ensemble du complexe olympique sont Ă  seulement 10 minutes Ă  travers la belle encoche de Wilmington.

Lovely cabin in the woods

Very nice cabin to stay in. Peacefully in the woods near Lake Placid, High Fall Gorge and Whitefacemountain. Very recommandable to stay for a good effort or relaxation.

A hidden gem just 2 miles from Whiteface

Super cute and great location

We really enjoyed our stay at the Little Peak Chalet. The location is convenient to many sights and activities in the area. Quiet neighborhood and the view is impressive. The chalet was clean and comfortable and Abby was great with communication although we didn’t need anything during our stay. We hope to return!

Great Stay at Little Peak Chalet

We had a fabulous week at the Little Peak Chalet. The home was a great basecamp for trips throughout the Adirondacks -- clean, comfortable, well located. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. Abby is a great communicator and is super responsive.

Cozy Chalet in a Great Location

Little Peak Chalet was perfect for our brief stay in the area. It’s close to everything we wanted - hiking, fishing, Whiteface, High Falls Gorge - and a great base for exploring Lake Placid, Saranac Lake and other areas. The three of us - two adults and our four year old - had plenty of room to relax and prepare meals. We know the new owners will be making some additional upgrades to the property as well, making it even better.

Cozy -tucked away from it all yet close to so much fun!

If you long for privacy yet want to be able to jump into the fun at Lake Placid-this is the perfect place to stay. This home is nestled back on a dead end road with only an approx. 15 minute drive to Lake Placid. Abby is an excellent host with great communication. I wasn’t At the cabin much due to staying for the Ironman triathlon. Everything I needed to make something to eat was there and the bed was comfortable. Just a heads up watch your shins on the bed frame- it hurts ;) Certainly not Abby’s fault I was clumsy.. just sharing to help save you the pain. The couch is also a hideabed so, even though it’s not big on square footage -Abby has maximized the space to accommodate more guests. It was just me this stay but I’d guess 6 guests could stay here comfortably. Book with confidence- Abby truly is a super host!

Wonderful lofty cottage

Rustic and cozy

Loved this little chalet nestled in the woods - was super quite and quaint. We were looking for a place to escape, relax, sit on the porch and soak up nature and the Little Peak Chalet delivered. Amy was very responsive when we needed her (even gave us an earlier check-in) and reached out to be sure we had all we wanted - can't ask for better! I would highly recommend and return if I'm in the area again.

Terrific little place

This place was adorable....very clean...rustic but updated enough and had all the comforts you need for a winter getaway. Very close to Whiteface Mountain and a short drive to Lake Placid. The only negative was the heating system - pretty loud when it cycles on. If you are noise sensitive it might drive you crazy.

Simple, clean, and cozy

Very comfy, albeit small, chalet. I would limit it to no more than 4 adults. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood, a 6-minute drive to Whiteface. Wood-burning stove (actually gas powered, no need for wood) was wonderful to add ambiance after a day of skiing. Abby was amazingly responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again. It’s up a hill, and a short stretch of the driveway is a little steep so I wouldn’t do it without all wheel drive in the winter.
