Welcome to your perfect getaway at a serene cabin nestled on the shore of a protected inlet to Canada Lake. This romantic, relaxing and inspiring sanctuary makes you feel instantly at home. Step inside to an open living area, featuring comfortable convertible couch, a dining table, and kitchen. A screen door to the front porch reveals a private and a comfortable futon with views of the tranquil water and soothing Adirondack air flowing through picturesque window screens.
Front yard: large lawn with outdoor fire place, picnic table, a trek deck connected to a private dock. A perfect yoga retreat to center oneself. Access to the water shed with a fishing rod, Adirondack chairs, kayak paddles, and life vests. 2 sit in kayaks are available to explore the wetlands, channels, and open lake where you can see turtles, geese, mallards, loons, eagles, and more.
Excellent fishing for brown trout and lake trout in the deeper parts of the lake.

Wonderful spot for family gathering

There were MANY things we loved about staying at this cabin— the privacy we had with the woods surrounding the cabin, the amount of land on the channel side with all it offered in outdoor fun, access to the kayaks, the basics provided, comfy beds, immaculate facilities. We had great fun with our 3-generation family reunion! While we didn’t need additional assistance, David made it very clear that we could call on him at any time.

Frustration.

The place was as advertised. The heating was by propane gas stove, and the manufacturer's instructions were problematic for one not versed in such matters and the controls hard to reach and, in the reachable position, to read. Owner's Manuel said nothing about heating. Since I had Verizon rather than ATT&T, I had no internet there; and at 86 am not up to the familiarity with cell phone alternatives that might have worked. Hence I could reach the owner only by the phone number he left at property. Heard back in 4 hours and problem solved, but, since it was very cold, by then I had a hotel room and decided not to go back the next day of a two-day stay.

There's nothing like walking outside your door and getting on a boat or kayak to float above the protected waters of Canada Lake, as the peaceful surroundings transport you to a simpler time and place. Surrounding oneself in nature can boost mood and increase feelings of happiness and provide a sense of peace and calm. Hiking the nearby trails of the Adirondack reveal seasonal changing flora, fauna, and fungi for novice to advanced foragers. Kane Mountain Fire Tower is located 2.5 miles away by car and is a beginner friendly hike to appreciate the elevated perspective of Canada Lake. 9 Corner Lake is a popular swimming destination at the top of a 1 mile uphill hike for families to cool off after ascending through canopy covered terrain of creeks and brooks. A favorite spot for our mushroom foraging adventures unveiling chicken of the woods, hen of the woods, lions mane, turkey tail, and many others.

Wheelerville Traverse is a mountain bike trail featuring berms, small jumps, bridge, and ride-overs, it is located behind the cabin, across the street.
Nick Stoner golf course, located in a beautiful tree lined mountain setting with a layout that appeals to golfers of all abilities only 0.6 miles away.

Saratoga Springs, NY, The name reflects the presence of mineral springs in the area, which has made Saratoga a popular resort destination for over 200 years.
