The property was outstanding for my family of 7. The location is in the best spot in the Hilo area. Close to town and close to the best beach in the area.

My family enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and there were plenty of towels, including beach towels. The kitchen has ample cookware, plates, cups, etc. and has a large refrigerator, There is a washer and dryer and the host even provides laundry detergent and fabric softener. There is ample parking and the lagoon across the street is amazing. The adults and kids had hours of fun playing in the water. The location is centrally located to various activities (zip lining, hiking, the volcano, black sand beach, water falls) and there are great places nearby to eat.

Perfect for our larger group of four families. Location across from the beach is ideal. We enjoyed coffee on the large deck in the mornings while the kids went across the street to snorkel. The host was always available to answer any questions immediately. Highly recommend this location and host!

Great Stay

Our three generation group of 10 had a wonderful stay. This is a great location. Plenty of space for all, three family groups didn’t feel crowded. We all enjoyed the upper lanai. Plenty of towels, cookware, and dishes. We enjoyed the Hilo area.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house and exploring all of the beach parks across the street! There was some neighborhood noise when we arrived, but we chalked it up to the weekend before Thanksgiving and everyone respected the noise bylaws at night. We’d love to come back again some time!

Great family ocean experience!

We had nine adults and six children under four and stayed for ten days. We literally sat on the deck and ate breakfast and we would spot sea turtles across the street. Great snorkeling and black sand beach right there. We will return again soon.

We loved staying here, the size of the home and location were perfect. Lots of extras provided in the shed. Recommend keeping washer door open between washes to air it out.

Location was perfect.

Very nice property with a local feel. Family had plenty of room. There were 6 adults and 1 infant. everything you need for a family vacation. Hope to return someday.

Great spot

We had 3 days in Hilo and the other 3 days were at Kona. We really loved our time at this property. The beach was a perfect playground for all of the members in our family. Close to town to try some local food and loved that it wasn’t filled with tourists. We were reminiscing about the spot all through our time on the Kona side.
